Rottenap - I know just what you are talking about. I do the same thing at times, but my kids are still young so I do get a little me time when they go to bed. So during the school year is not a real hard time for me to have me time..but during the summer it is difficult.

So my challenge for you this week is to take at least an hour this week for just you!

I am trying to get back on track this year. This week I am trying to be sure to get at least 30 minutes of exercise everyday. Since the weather is a little nicer today I took a short walk on lunch, but I will still do my 30 minutes this evening. However, I could still use someone to challenge me just please remember not anything to difficult since I am just getting back on track!

I did three and a half miles ...then fell off the thing from boredom. (and my rearend hurts! LOL)

The bike actually is good for my leg/knee...or so I have been told...but today my whole left side is screaming at me. I am going to take it easy tomorrow and let it calm down. I have dance ...both teach and take...on Wednesday.

Janet {{Hugs}} Hope tonight is panic free and tomorrow is a good day!!

Go for those 5 miles!

I have panic attacks which I take meds for. I can take them x2 daily. But, I don't want to be a zombie. They help me get through unknown attacks. However, I am to avoid upcoming know attacks. There is one coming up, which hubby and I always attend!

During the night, I had a massive panic attack! Some of the time I don't recall what they are about. But, this one I do recall! So, I'll be dealing with this for a couple of weeks.

Yea Janet!! Good job.

I challenge you to do your ironing...by Wednesday, at least. emoticon

I am tired and sore...we helped our neighbors out by shoveling drives and sidewalks. (we have a lot of elderly around us..)

So skipping my weightlifting tomorrow...and won't be able to walk outside as much with all this snow. Will have to hit the indoor bike! I hate riding in place.

Anyone want to challenge me to five miles on the darn thing?!

Thank You!

I got to the hair salon: Got the baking done, with decorating; made treat-or-treat bags; decor for table at bake sale together. Didn't get my ironing done.

Thamks.

Hi Smidgon!

Would you like a gentle challenge to get those things done? That might actually be too big a challenge...so..how about..I challenge you to get at least two of those things done...

Oh! And to have a great day!!

I hope I am not over-stepping here by adding this, but I got the idea after reading Mari's blog....

Maybe we could come here if we need a challenge/support....whatever.

For example: I could say I need to get moving and 'Sunset' could challenge me to do 30 mins of cardio a day for the next five days and then report back here when I have.

OR...we can challenge each other to do the same and then report back that we did/didn't make it.

I'll even give a 'goodie prize' (only one I can afford! LOL) if you meet your challenge....

Now I know we can't all do the same thing...some of us have physical limitations...I can't run/jump etc and have a leg brace to contend with...but we can get around that by informing what we can't do or can only do a little of....

What do you think?

I, for one, HATE doing core exercises. But if someone challenges me to do the darn reps (I am up to 12-15 reps in sets of 2) Then I will do them, but I kind of whimp out if not being held accountable.

Walking...I am down to 3.2 miles in 45 mins...would like to get to 40 mins....
