Ok, this may be TMI, but what the heck. I went into the ladies' restroom in a Barnes & Noble. Sat down on the pot and there scrawled on the inside of the door were the following words: "The Angels have the phone box!" Then in 3 different handwritings below it were the following: "Don't blink!" "Don't blink!" "Don't even blink!" Whovians are everywhere!

I saw 2 Doctors at the Bristol Renaisance Faire in Wisconsin. One was "David Tennant" and the other was "Tom Baker". When I saw the Tom Baker Who, I warned him there was a later version of himself on the other side of the grounds, so he better be careful not to cross his own path! He asked if the other fellow was as good-looking as himself! I did not want to hurt his feelings so I said, "No, no! It is an ugly regeneration!"

I think the best one was "Vincent and the Doctor" it was such a beautiful episode. And the end where they take Van Gogh back to present time to talk to the curator. That scene always makes me cry. The Doctor is just amazing. I love him and can't wait to see what other shenanigans he has in store for us in Series 7.

That last scene in the Vincent episode, when they take him to the gallery at the museum FULL of his works and the curator says he was the most loved artist ... no matter how sad Amy was that they couldn't change the past, that he still ended up crazy and dead before his time, that scene really was beautiful.

What a wonderful story of Doctor Donna. That was exactly as it happenned. Now I want to give you this Challenge and I will give it to the others. There was an episode with Vincent Van Gogh. Do you remember that episode? I think it's one of the sadder programmes. So looking forward to hearing what you have to say.

Well, I really thought I would see the "Doctor/Donna" episode last night but BBC America isn't running them in order. Ah well. It was still enjoyable to see it - the Agatha Christy episode. Two favorites: Dame Agatha and the Doctor.

Well, definitely hooked on Doctor Who that's for sure. There are a lot of episodes I couldn't tell you as much about but that is up there as one of my favorites.

As for a good memory, my kids would probably dispute that since I can't ever seem to remember their names when I'm talking to them. LOL

The Doctor (as played by David Tennant) was shot by a Dalek while running towards Rose who had managed to return from her parallel world. This forced a regeneration but instead of regenerating into a new form, he thrust the regeneration energy into an appropriate Time Lord receptacle, namely his hand that had been cut-off when he first regenerated by the Scisorax (sp?). He then proceeded to get captured by the Daleks and sent to Davros. All of the new companions were with him except Donna who had been trapped by the Tardis. As the Tardis was being thrown into a pit of fire to be destroyed, she bumped into the hand and gave the regeneration energy focus. This gave her some Time Lord abilities and allowed the hand to regenerate into a human/Time Lord hybrid form of the Doctor with only one heart. This was the Doctor/Donna. After the successful rescue of Earth, The Doctor wiped her memories clear as holding onto them would burn up her mind and brought her back to her mother and grandfather. The human/Time Lord hybrid was taken to the parallel universe with Rose and left there for the two of them to live out their lives.

And no, I did not just go look this up. I've seen that episode just a few too many times apparently. LOL

Wow - I vaguely recall Donna Noble getting changed by the Tardis as it regenerated a new, mostly human Doctor from that weird hand he kept in a glass vial. She was able to function for a while with a huge dose of his brilliance and save them all but then the Doctor had to pull it all out of her to save her life. Wasn't Rose Tyler in that one as well, and the original Doctor left the mostly human copy with her in the alternate universe? Man, my brain is gonna collapse trying to remember this without looking it up. But who were the bad guys they were up against? Wasn't Jack Harkness in that one as well, or was it Mickey Smith? emoticon
