My number 1 reason is to be more mobile. A year ago I was hobbling around and living on hands full of Motrin. I started working out 3 times a week last April and the exercise has helped me tremendously. I don't hurt anymore and I can move quickly after standing up instead of walking bent at the knees and back until I loosen up. My posture is better and I am stronger. I didn't lose any weight, because I was still eating horribly. But now I am ready to tackle next.
Number 2: I got blood work that showed I have a fatty liver. I have had this for a while, but this time it is serious enough they want me to see someone about it. I am going to take six months to DO something about it. If I have another bad test then I will see someone. But I think I can fix it with proper diet and weight loss instead of the medication that they will want to use.
Number 3: I am tired of shopping in the Plus Size part of the clothing store. I intend to change that forever.
Sometimes I may dread exercising, but I NEVER regret exercising.
