I've worked 3 weeks straight, not used to that! I haven't been getting on the treadmill at home but doing lots of stuff at work so that's helped. I'm now back to pre holidays weight! I need to get more cardio in though. I'm hoping that this will be my last week of work and then I can get back to normal. Pam

Yes. I get dizzy if I get up to fast when I am exercising daily. It is the blood pressure medication. Doctor likes 110 over 70 but I think sometimes it goes lower.
Last visit was 130 or 80 something - Holidays eating and lack of exercise took it toll. I gained a lot if weight since mid - November!

trying to get motivated for a new week. Had a meltdown in church this AM. Dizzy and light headed. I think my blood sugar dropped off the charts. But, I ate banana bread for breakfast and no protein. Does that happen to others on here?

Nope not easy at all Paul.
I've done only ok this week the only exercise I'm getting in is keeping up my streak of 15 min a day usually walking. Working extra (mandatory) hours this week and next so trying to watch what I eat I'm only doing so/so on that but I'm still trying my best everyday.

5 brownies?
That would pretty much make the whole day a free day for me. Had a free day Monday - McDonalds for breakfast, Subway for lunch and soup for dinner. I also hiked a few miles through woods and not on a trail. Still sore.
On track yesterday and today. Just walked 1.7 miles in the cold (30s but windy).
Hope everyone is hanging tough. This is not easy by no means.

I understand about the unhappy eating. I ate 5 brownies today!! Now they were wonderful and I felt really good afterwards--they really hit the spot. But then I had to put the info into my Spark tracker. Very sad.......I did well in the morning and I will be careful tonight. But I will be over my limit. Can't skip supper because I am going out with my husband:-)

I worked all last week. Usually it's a sit down job but I was doing inventory. I was up and down ladders sometimes with heavy boxes, squats, lst of walking, etc, etc. so I didn't have to worry I wasn't going to get a work out in!! I would wake up sooo sore. I think I have one more day to do for this week and it will be the normal day. Sitting down, yuck!! I liked all the movement.

Paul hope you've gotten back on track with eating.
I've had a good 7 days stayed under my calorie limit each day and I'm still streaking. Next 2 weeks will be tough we have a mandatory 4 hours (each wk) of overtime in order for me to get my time in I'll have to shorten my lunches from 1 hr to 30 min I usually spend at least 15 min walking during lunch so I'll have to get that time in at home but I know I can do it.

Day 7 of 366 done!!!!!! Monday is going to be a challenge, work called me in. Not sure how many days they want me. I know I can do it, I've done it before. I just get stressed out trying to get everything done. I just have to remind myself that my workout is more important then dishes or laundry.

I'm exercising and eating right - I did sneak a cookie at a meeting but I tracked it! I have finished my walk and I am now eating my apple (afternoon snack) - I know it is almost dinner time but I have to eat the apple.

Today's been a good day calorie wise. However, I still need to eat wiser, healthier calories. I did forget to mention that I got in 15 minutes of walking yesterday. Still working to improve things but I'm doing so much better than I had been.

My 5 hour trip to the hospital with dad turned into an 8 hour day. Didn't have my insulin with me so my blood sugar went up. Found a little cafe and bought an apple and a nutty granola bar for lunch. Then 3 hours later I had a long, soft pretzel stick. So I need to prepare better for the next time.
BTW, thanks for that clarification, Paul. I almost made a spectacle of myself. Whew!!!

Doing good so far had some temptations the last couple of days but stayed under 1700 calories have been getting my minimum of 15 min of exercise in each day..next week I'll increase that to 30 min a day so over all I'm happy with how I'm doing

I have to take back my weigh in on Jan 1st. Evidently my scale was off 5 lbs (not to my benefit). Instead of 315, I actually weigh 320 so that's a total of 18 lbs gained back.
I did great on the food front today. Still didn't manage to get in any exercise. Had to take parents to the doctor today. Pushing my dad around in a wheel chair up and down those halls at the hospital was a little bit of a work out though.
I got a streak of one day going. Yay me!

I have a plan to exercise everyday of the year for at least 30 minutes. So far so good! Today was hard but got it in. So far in 3 days I've lost 1.6 pounds, I know it's probably water but it feels good. I wish it would continue this way.

Yep - tollhouse was the first cookies for us to run out of. Deborah made about half the cookies she made in the past since we are both eating less. I still packed on pounds and pounds - unreal. Parties, and luncheons everyday - heck the week between Christmas and New Years included 2 buffets (had 3 planned but back out of last one - running out clothes that fit), and throw in a couple of restraurant visits. Let's not talk about New Years Eve Egg Nog and Mission Get Rid of the Cookies (AKA Mission Eat What is Left of Cookies).

After careful research and analysis, I have concluded that eating a hundred or so Christmas Cookies in a month will result in weight gain. Or maybe it was the peanut butter cups.... Doesn't matter now - tracking everything and staying on target - day 2

My starting weight for 1/1/12 is 315 lbs. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. On 9/28/11 I had my lowest weight of 302. That is a 13 lb gain in 3 months.

Wondering if it makes a difference which team to sign up on--the individual or team? Maybe I am signed up. I want to have things in order for the new year. I am doing well on eating this week. Lost 5 pounds over Christmas week. Unheard of for me to lose that much in a week let alone Christmas! Needless to say, I am excited and want to keep my motivation up there. My family celebrated Christmas last night. We all have to work Christmas day. Family restaurant. It happens. It was a great evening!

Hi all I am such a bad team member I started a new job (finally) on Oct 3 got all outta whack forgot I was in this challenge and have been posting. Oops my bad.
Well the first 2 weeks of the job through me for a loop so to say trying to get on a schedule and figure out how to exercise with limited time wasn't good for me I gained 3.6lbs. But I've got things figured out a little better now and I've lost what I gained plus a little more (and weigh in day isn't til Monday) so I feel like I'm in control now.
So for all who are struggling, I know the feeling we have those bad days, weeks, months but what is most important is being able to turn it around and have a good day, week, month.

I could blame my DH for bringing in all that junk. But the bottom line is that I was the one who ate it. He has stopped bringing it in so I've stopped eating it. Had another decent day food wise. Still not managing to get that exercise in.
I'll think about that tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is another day.

Today I am back on track again. Hopefully I can stay focused! Got a pork roast a week from Saturday but as far as I know that is the only threat.
Wife told me to day we have to start eating dinners at home again! I vote for that - the crap I have been getting out is contributing to the problem. I am sure a foot long Italian Sub is probably on the "Avoid" list.
