Well last yr I lost 17 Sept - Nov, Dec early Jan gained 7 back. does that answer your Q? Ugggg. but today I am back on track! My 7 gain happened when I broke my toe , it started raining, my grown kids moved back in!, and the holiday sweets were just to tempting. Today the kids are still here, but we have adjusted! It quit raining, and my toe healed! woohoo that puts me back on the courts! And I finally ate all the holiday sweets and had enough focus to not buy any more. Oh life is good again!

I had lost 4 pounds over Christmas and then gained 2 back over New Year's---go figure. I think it might have been the big dinner my husband and I went for our anniversary on New Year's Eve. As soon as I ate the rich food, I knew it wasn't going to be good. But the steak and crab was wonderful!
Funny that you posted this today, I weighed myself for the first time in weeks this morning. I was pleased that I had only gained a couple of pounds. I had decided to not deprive myself too much during the holidays or it might backfire. I just had my last dinner party of the season last night, so I am ready to get down to business starting NOW!

It's January 2, 2011 and the last day of the holiday season for another year and I was just wondering how other members of the team did over the holiday. Christmas week my eating was awful. I know I GAINED weight and didn't have the fortitude to step on the scale the day after Christmas because I knew I'd be totally devastated. No exercise that week either. Too busy. This past week did much, much better and got into tracking my food again and hitting the gym. Lost 1 lb. as the scale told me this morning but I'm good with that. After these last 2 holiday weeks, I was happy to lose anything!
