I am about to start the program and was wondering if the supplements that are suggested (mostly BCAA and Whey Protein shakes) are safe while breastfeeding? I haven't been able to find any scientific evidence to support a decision one way or the other, so the default answer is typicall NO. But I'd like to hear from anyone that has first-hand knowledge about it.
I'm still nursing my 5-month old and will continue until he's 1 year, and I'd like to do the plan as close to her guidlelines as possible.
I still take my prenatal vitamin and omega-3 and haven't had any problems. But does whey and BCAA have any ill effects to BFing?
