I would suggest patience, especially because you will not "lose weight", you will lose inches. It can be frustrating to look at the scale for 8 weeks and not see a change. But you will see changes if you are consistent with your diet and exercise...eventually. ;)

My only words of wisdom is to be able to invest the time. I am in Week #8 and it get really time consuming once you get deeper into the program. It has been problematic for some to squeeze in all of the exercise and cardio in Phase 3 which is where I will be next week.
If you have any injuries, really try to modify moves. For instance, I had knee surgery in June and I have to be really careful about squats and lunges. I can't do them as deeply since my surgery.
One last thing, don't get discouraged if you don't see the pounds melting away. I have not really lost any weight, but I have shed almost two inches. I think we can get discouraged when we don't see the results that others may have or we think we should have.

I recently heard about Jamie Easons' LiveFit program, and as I've been looking for an exercise program I decided to look into it. I watched the introductory video and as I watched it I was ecstatic to learn that the program focuses exercise-wise on weight training (I hate cardio too!!), but I wondered, for the people who have already started and been on this program for awhile, do you have any tips or advice for us LiveFit newbies? The program seems like it would be right up my alley and I'm really excited to start, but I want to do it the best I can, so any advice is invited!
