I am planning on doing this from my home gym as well. I have Bowflex and the Selectech weights. I am not sure yet how to incorporate the leg press and such yet. I am planning on starting this next week but may have to postpone it until after the Warrior dash since I will be running so much in the next few weeks.

I'm also doing this program at home. I have a weight machine but not for leg press.

I'm doing this at home as well. I have a gym in my garage so it comes in handy. Have had to alter a couple of things to make them work but that's where my resistance bands come in handy.

I am doing this at home as well. I pretty much just have free weights and plan on using the P90X legs DVD to work out my legs. There are many variations that you can do at home as there are many of us who just cant get to a gym. Looking forward to seeing where this transformation program takes me.

For todays lat pulldowns I did pull ups instead (with my legs on a chair) for the cable pulls I used a resistance band secured to a chair.
If you have resistance bands you can secure them to a door for the pulldowns.
If you just have barbells, bent over rows could be substituted. Or check out spark for other back exercises.

Yep...I'm doing this at home as well. Glad to see I'm not the only one...not that I seriously thought I was. I have some weights but not too heavy. 8 lbs is the most. I don't have a barbell but I'm hitting the thrift stores on the look-out! I do have a bench.
Yesterday for the tricep pushdowns I did chair dips, and for the cable flyes I did regular flyes. Of course, I'm trying to work the same muscle groups. If all else fails I'll use one of the multitude of fitness dvd's I own. LOL!
What are y'all doin' today? I didn't look up the muscle groups yet but back and biceps shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

I'm doing this at home with dumbbells, a barbell, and bands. Tomorrow for the legs workout, I think I'm going to do a Cathe DVD with lots of squats and lunges and then add in the calf work.

Today's back workout is kind of tricky. What exercises are you all doing for substitutes?

I am! Like everyone else who's posted so far, I'll be using free weights for most of the exercises and squats, etc. for the leg presses. I'm wondering if using a resistance band for some of the leg exercises would be pretty effective too? Might change things up a bit!

For todays workout I did chest flys instead of the flat bench cable flys and tricep kickbacks instead of the tricep pushdowns.

I'm doing it from home. All I have are free weights, so hopefully that will be good enough. :)

Yeah Paula!! So I'm starting tomorrow but this week will be a little different since I did a ST workout today. This was kind of a spur of the moment decision. So tomorrow I'll do legs. For Leg Press I was going to DB lunges, I have Leg Extensions on our bench, Seated Leg Curl I was going to do Good morning hamstrings and the Standing Calf Raise use DBs and then seated one they have a good exercise video of using a barbell one at home! I'm super excited to get started!

I'm going to do it at home. I have ten # hand weights and a curl bar with variable weight. For things like leg presses I'll probably do squats or something that works the same muscle group. I'm looking forward to increasing my ST!!

Hey everyone!

Just wondering if anyone else is going to try and do this at home and if so, what kind of modifications are you making (i.e. leg presses). Also, what # weights are you using?

Thanks!! emoticon
