So far I have been going to our local YMCA and spending time on the treadmill, bike and elliptical. I have a treadclimber at home and a wii fit. But those items seem to be collecting dust right now. Guess I need to get them out and dust them off for days I don't make it to the Y.

Thats awesome u find alternatives at home! I got to the gym this morning and did 45 minutes cardio and 20 strength. It felt good definately gonna go back tomorrow! Good luck stepping up your routine :)

*Stay under 1200 calories and eat healthy choices
*Exercise 6 times a week
*Overcome cravings
*Fix healthy sensible dinners and not eat out
*Stay Strong
*Drink lots and lots of water
*I Can Do This!!!

Good for Jessica. I want an elliptical so bad. However, they are expensive, not to mention my kids would want to play on it. Which, if they were older I wouldn't have a problem with, but they are not. LOL.
I have been strength training T (upper body), TH (lower body), Sun (core). As well as doing cardioke M, W and Fri.
It has been going well, but I think I am ready to step up my Cardio routine come tomorrow. :-)

I do have a elliptical in the basement that rarely gets used, along with a wii fit and then pay for a nice gym membership. Im hoping to really get back into working out 5 days a week now that I have more time on my hands.

Ok. I think I blogged about it, but have any of you tried Cardioke??? It is FUN!!! The 30 mins go by fast and my kids look at me like I am silly, but then they will even get up and join in.

Also, try taking a look at some of the cardio workout Sparkpeople videos. They are only 10 mins long but if you throw 3 in a row, there is your 30 mins! LOL

So far I have stuck to walking, and I agree that it's getting cold. There is a school close to me that has walking for a couple of hours a night that is free. Maybe there is something like that near you? I also have a yoga DVD that I enjoy doing. Hope you find something you like!

Hello everyone.
I was just wondering what everyone else on here does as part of their cardio routine? I have to do my workouts at home and the weather is getting to cold outside to take walks with the kids, so what do all of you do?
I do not have any home gym equipment. I do however use my stairs and run in place or play tag with the kids.
