My husband and I both love to read and now my grand daughter is reading the same type of books that we love.

I don't always feel tired enough to drop off to sleep so I keep a book next to the bed for some bedtime reading. My favorite author's are JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis and Terry Brooks. I love Fantasy SciFi

If you have the choice to sit it out or dance: I hope you'll dance!!

We're all readers in my house ~~ NO TV. I like all kinds of books. Right now I'm reading a Dean Koontz book called, One door away from heaven.

Jeremiah 29:11 ~~ "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Right now I don't read as much as I used to, but I've always loved to read. My favorite book, Lord of the Rings, is over 1,500 pages long and I have literally read it two dozen times.

"...there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for."

"We're children of a fighting race that never yet has known disgrace." (The Soldiers' Song, Irish national anthem)

"Every day above ground is a good day." (Chef Justin Kennedy of New Orleans, on Chopped)

I read a lot.... though not as much in actual paper form as I used to, now the majority of my reading is done online... easier for me than trying to maneuver the pages of a 'real book' and not to get frustrated this way. If the print size on your computer screen is too small, you can make it larger ( I push ctrl & mousewheel to change sizes on pages I need to).

I AM A HUGE READER. SINCE I DON'T SLEEP WELL AT NIGHT, I FIND MYSELF GOING THROUGH TONS OF BOOKS. MY FAVORITES ARE REALLY GOOD MYSTERIES, ALTHOUGH THE LIGHTER MYSTERIES WORK TOO. I READ ABOUT 200 BOOKS A YEAR, SOMETIMES MORE. MOST OF THEM NOW, ARE LARGE PRINT AS I AM LOSING MY EYE SIGHT. THAT'S ALSO WHY I USUALLY WRITE IN ALL CAPS.
