The weekends are always the hardest, aren't they...well, for me at least. I don't have the distraction of work to keep me from heading towards that fridge or cupboard.
What I try to do is on Fridays, I think of what I want to accomplish over the weekend, whether it's not eating chips or maybe drinking an extra glass of water. Maybe it's walking around the block each day or taking that lap twice (it's the weekend, extra time for another lap, right).
Anyway, that's what I suggest to you today. Think of something (even if something small) and try to accomplish it this weekend. It's only two days so I know you can do it.
My challenge this weekend is that after I feed my dogs in the morning (I'm on a tight 6:30 am feeding schedule as one of my dogs requires insulin), I'm going to head out in the neighborhood and take a walk; I'll resist that urge to go back to bed. It's only two days...Saturday and Sunday...I can do it!
