A) start with the number 387 for women 864 for men

B) multiply your age by 7.31 for women 9.72 for men

C) subtract B from A ( the result may be negative)

D) Multiply your weight in ppounds by 4.91 for women 6.39 for men

E) Multiply your height in inches by 16.78 for women 12.77 for men

F) Add D and E

G) Your daily physical acivity level
Sedentary (no regular activity) 1.0
Low active ( up to 30 minutes daily activity) 1.14 women 1.12 men
Active(50 - 60 minutes) 1.27
Very active (over 1 hour) 1.45 women 1.54 men

H) multiply F by G

I) Add C and H These will be the calories you need to MAINTAIN your weight
To LOSE weight- subtract 300 - 500 calories
