Car tyre, I understand if you drive on it you need a new tyre not just a repair. About 15 years since I had to do this last. Working out which way to turn nuts to loosen them was the hardest bit. Nuts are no longer tighten with a pneumatic gun. Thank goodness.

That sounds like a candidate for weirder ways to burn calories. Are we talking car or bicycle tyre? I have given up trying to change bicycle back tyres. I take it to the neighborhood recycle bicycle store and the staff, none under 75 if a day, whip that tyre right off and fix it in a jiffy. My hats off to you for whatever kind of tyre you changed.
