It is so good to hear that you are doing well. SPark gave me something that no other program could, too. I did the same thing three years ago. I had never dreamed that I'd be able to get down to my high school weight, when I set my original goals, but I kept losing when I reached goal and have been level now for three years! You can all do it too!!!

emoticon My story is so similar to yours, CC. I reached my goal in a few months and then lost some more. I still can't quite believe I even reached my goal weight, let alone got lighter!
Like you, I now encourage everyone who is interested to try out sparkpeople. It's the only program that has ever worked for me.

I've been thinking about the one year Spark-versary too. I'm so glad I found SP! I achieved my original goal to loose 10kg (22lb) within about 6 months - most of it in the first few months then a break over Christmas when I went overseas before finally getting there. Since then I've lost a little more and I'm still going, not because I'm unhappy with my weight but because of my shape which isn't what it was last time I was this weight.

I'm so happy that I know I can do whatever I set out to do and I feel so confident that I'll get to whatever weight/shape I choose. I've learnt the value of tracking everything I eat and I know that I don't loose weight when I don't. I recommend SparkPeople to anyone who will listen and tell them it's sensible, realistic and doable lifestyle change - no fad diets and there's nothing I don't still eat, just in better moderation.

I hope others have had a good journey this past year too.

I've spent most of the last month thinking about the fact that I'm coming up to my one year anniversary with spark people. I thought I would check in with the one group that must have some people thinking the same thing as me! How are you doing?
