We had a wonderful weekend at the lake. While spring-like days aren't unusual during North Carolina winters, I know to really appreciate them when they come on the weekend. Yesterday we had temperatures in the mid-sixties and enjoyed a 4-hour sail. Hoping you had a good one too!

I am thinking since the weather is nice that me and my husband and daughter could try our first highpointing experience starting in Missouri! emoticon

This weekend finds me doing homework as always, but also working in some serious exercise time. I'm trying to start this month out right while at the same time set a good example for myself for the coming week. Hope your mom is better Diane!

Oh my, Meredith. What a trip!!! Hoping that you loved being with your brother, because you certainly had plenty of sibling togetherness!

Way to go with the fitness minute make-up today and the hikes on Friday and Saturday.

I spent the weekend with my mother in the hospital, and got some exercise in by climbing stairs... definitely not a fun way to exercise, but it worked! (She's better now and will continue improving, we hope, following knee replacement surgery.)

Have a good week!
Diane

I went to Nova Scotia to close the family home for the season with my brother. We drove 16 hours on Thursday and 16 hours on Sunday. I fell off the sugar wagon and wasn't wonderful with what I was eating toward the end, but I took some fabulous hikes on Friday and Saturday for lots of exercise and fresh air. I'm back in the saddle today with lots of water, sensible food and I've already logged in 60 minutes of exercise. I'm shaking the weekend off and going for it!

Congrats on the new floor and WTG on the fitness minutes! You've logged a lot in two months. Good luck with the schoolwork. You can do it along with the water too. As for the rest, your priorities are right and realistic.

Homework, starting a new Spark challenge and accomplishing something with my house is in order for tomorrow. I know a lot for one day but, considering the fact that today I got new floors in my kitchen/utility, that's all I have to work with. Things Ima focus on Water (need my 8 cups) and Homework. If the rest falls to the wayside, le sigh.

I'm on vacation and my boys have fall break, so we are visiting my parents, celebrating my oldest's 16th Bday and just relaxing and having family time.

Doing as much homework as humanly possible this weekend, so that next week I can enjoy my family vacation. It's going to be fun in the sun with sand between my toes and crystal blue waves to splash around in to my little hearts content! I can not wait!!!!!!!!!!

We're enjoying a long weekend in Annapolis. DH and I have been here since last night. DS and DDiL are on their way now to join us. Can't wait for great family time and LOTS of great walking in this beautiful town.

Going on a picnic tomorrow afternoon in a beautiful park nearby with my book club. Great group of ladies who I went to high school with, so always good fun.

Annual Fall Camping Trip to the mountains. Plan on hiking a new trail, so hope all the walking I've done the past month makes it easier to do this hike!

Friday night we had a friend's birthday party to go to. It was really fun with lots of other kids for our kids to play with and lots of adults for us to talk with. The kids wore themselves out and went straight to bed when we got home (always a good thing). I don't know what we will do the rest of the weekend. Probably just hang out and relax as a family :)

I/We have a very busy weekend and my pedometer will be worn out or I will be, : )
Been busy cuttin' grass 3.5 acres of it, too bad I can't use a push mower, I'd get plenty of steps in that way! Other outdoor chores include sanding our back deck, getting ready for winter projects like closing vents around the foundation of our home and getting pump house ready for winter. I waited too long last fall and winter was on me before I was ready and that WON'T happen again, if I have anything to do with it!

Still working in and around the garden area too. Still have to lay out the high tunnel, as it was too hot 'round these parts this summer. Want/HAVE to get it up this fall! After I get it laid out, then will be using a post hole auger to make the holes in the ground to set the framework of the high tunnel, then off to the races building it the rest of the way.

Hope all enjoy their weekend, I know I'll enjoy mine, even though there is a lot of work involved. Will definitely be having a campfire/bonfire this evening from some of the fallen limbs from the SPring storms that blew through. They had dried out sufficiently to burn well by now.

So long and keep those SPark fires burning

Tony

Just wondering what our team members are doing this weekend?
Myself, I have a list of things on the go: clean the house, walk the dog, laundry, help oldest with project, groceries, cut the grass, work on the flower gardens....and the list goes on.

Happy Sparking...
