What inspires me umm. The greatest thing that inspires me are my children. I want to be able to take them to the park and chase them and push them on the merry go round. I don't want to just lose weight I want to be fit and healthy. I want the lifestyle of a healthy person. I want my children to grow up knowing that kind of lifestyle instead of the one they are learning now. (which is sedentary). So what about some of you others what are your inspirations?
#1-My Dad died at the age of 43 of a massive heart attack. He struggled with controlling his weight his whole adult life. I am my father's child and I've finally decided to take control of my health and my weight so that I don't die at such a young age.
#2-I need to be the example for my overweight 13 year old son. This is what brings me to.....
#3-My son and I signed up for a program called the Hernando Health Experience. It's a 12 week program of weight loss and healthy living. Ages *13 and up can sign up AND whoever loses the most percentage of weight and inches in waist could win up to $1,000. It's a win-win situation for us!
#4-I think there is an athlete inside me. I've just never met her. We recently started riding our bikes on our local trail and I Love Love Love feeling the wind hit my face as I go and sometimes I imagine that I am running. Maybe one day. Right now, I couldn't run for more then 10 seconds without feeling like my chest is going to explode. Tried c25k...NOT happening at this point. One day.
#5-All of you SParkers!! I love looking at people's spark pages and blogs. It really keeps me motivated. I will be on this site every day to help keep that motivation. Thank you for that!!
I'm done rambling now!
p.s.-Let's all motivate each other and hold each other accountable :-)

There are risks and costs to a program of action. But they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction. -John F. Kennedy

The thought of having a breast reductionand loosing the last 19 pounds or as close as I can get to it before the reduction. I am very broad around the back and getting to a c cup will help with the body image.
I will succeed,It may take some time but I will get there

I've been on diets before and sometimes I've even been successful for awhile. I've learned to get good results you have to really be excited about the change you want. Right now I AM EXCITED!
Strange as it may sound what motivated me was a shaper. Evil right? Well it's not just any shaper. It's actually pretty and when I first put it on I lost 2" just like that. I felt beautiful and fit into some jeans that I haven't worn in months. I decided right then that I needed to lose 2" (to start) for real. Then I can get a smaller shaper and look even better.
That is how it started with me and I'm raring to go.
