We went to the party last night. I wanted to stick pencils in my eyes it was so enjoyable! There were lots of questions about my diet: Why aren't you eating (fill in the blank with whatever grain based food ie, cake, pasta, bread,)? Is this new diet by choice or is this more than just trying to lose a few pounds?
Seriously? Who would change their whole life style just to lose a few pounds? Not me. When I eat grains I get sick, really sick, like doubled over in pain kind of sick. Like eat a serving of rice and puff up for 3 days, and gain two pounds kind of sick.
And then I proceeded to have 3 chocolate martinis. It was easier than engaging in conversation!
