Our group is for people that have found that grains have hurt our health and well-being. Some of us come from a low carb background, some come from paleo or primal backgrounds, and some of us have allergies to wheat, corn, or other grain products. Some of us may eat grains like rice or corn while avoiding wheat. We do recommend a low sugar diet and avoiding fake additives and flavors, but we primarily want to live happy lives that are not centered around food.
1. Treat everyone with respect. 2. Give advice in a constructive, positive, and encouraging way. 3. Realize that some things might work for some people and not for others. 4. Sparkpeople does not allow links for personal advertising (like blogs and websites advertising diets), so you may refer to a system, but not give links to them or your personal website.
We are not a place for those who preach extremes. If that's what you enjoy, fine, but please do not preach here. There are other groups for that.
