A little change........consolidating two threads into one..............I'll only ask that everyone focus on weight loss and fitness goals for this one thread. There are other places on this team for general chatting about whatever you like. And there are other places here for inspirational quotes and for humorous tidbits. Accountability is the focus for this one thread. OK?
To reach goals It is often helpful to document our efforts and documenting can be done in many ways. That is the reason for this thread: consistently documenting our efforts toward health.
First: This thread on your team is a public record for only ONE WEEK at a time, seven evenings. We can then support each other. We are trying to do something hard and, darn it, we need help to do that! Having short term goals will get us to those long term goals we all want so badly.
On this thread, you are welcome to put up an ICON showing yesterday evening's success related to Evening Eating. Or, if you prefer to write a couple of words or even a few sentences, great! --with or without icons.
Whatever 'floats your boat!" Have it YOUR WAY, like the ad says!
No-mater-what, consider it a week of focused effort. It is a promise of only 7 days.
And even then, the rule is you can renew your promise at any moment in time. "Blowing it"
in the morning or any time is forgotten.
The very next moment you can renew your promise to yourself and start all over again.
No more waiting till "Monday morning" or in this case "Sunday morning." Never, ever say you have "blown" the whole week!
Absolutely no guilt is present. Just the fact of making an effort is enough. Eventually these efforts build on themselves and lo and behold we are making our goals successful-not perfect--but we are seeing definite progress.
Notice, I have consolidated 2 threads into one. Then we have room for one more thread related to daily discussions or whatever.
I love the icons --I love things displayed in graphics of whatever kind. But 2 threads on accountability seems redundant. Hope you all agree!
