I found it to be difficult as well - but the basic premise is good. I actually found a really good book that kind of goes along with the thoughts of this one too - it's not a diet book but it's called In Defense of Food - awesome read.
I read it a while ago. It has some really good information. It's just next to impossible for me to eliminate all of the things that he says you should. But it certainly did make me more aware of what I'm putting into my body and the affect that it has.
