Hi! I'm new here and hoping to make some new friends. I have 25 pounds I want to see gone and than I will be at my goal. Looking forward to meeting many of you. I work during the week but will post when I can, normally Tuesdays through the week are good for me.

Just wanted to check in and say hi. Been kinda quiet in here!

I'm still on my pattern of holding steady and then dropping 2-4 pounds. Hope I'm due for another drop soon! Not yet combing catalogues for beachwear, but maybe in a few months!

I wasn't sure where to post this. I'm trying to figure out if I should be on this team, since I know I won't do the videos regularly. I have my own fitness plan that I'm working to. So, I just wanted to put that out there to see how rigid the team is with the activities.

That said, I tried out another Zumba class last night. Per usual, I sweated my tail off. I swear, if I even think about strenuous activity, I start sweating! Worse yet, my sweat zone is my head! My hair gets soaked so quickly, I'm actually a little self conscious of it because when the lights were up, I saw that I was making little puddles at my feet. Oh well! My Zumba neighbors will just have to watch out while I do my best not to splash!

As for the class, it was a little too much Latin for me. I know it's Zumba, right? But I kinda like the hip hop mixed in there. The technical dance bores me. I just like to get jiggy. So, I'll keep looking for instructors and classes.

I'm strength training at home today. Maybe I'll do a few of the bootcamp videos when I'm finished. I did a few of the videos earlier this year. Are they considered cardio or strength? Or are they a mix?

I have done awesome this past week, my hubby decided he wanted to lose weight also, so he has been eating very well. Which does make it easier on me to make the right choices! Hope everyone is doing well

I'm beging to make some slow progress; at getting back on track. This week I haave drank at least 8 glasses of water. It's a start and getting better at controlling the snacking. Making baby steps, it's hard when you are alone doing it. Going to get back on track, for myself. I deserve to be able to take care of me.

Today, I am gonna do an awesome workout, I mean I want to be sweating at the end of it!! I went for a brisk walk yesterday, and no sweat even though it was 90 something out! Have a great day all!

I started my day by walking a 5k distance on the beach, at sunrise, with my dog and a walking buddy. Think I was most excited to find a walking buddy. I offer up to so many people, but no takers until today, so that was very nice to have company while exercising. The sunrise wasn't too visible, lots of clouds, but they kept it a nice temp and a breeze was going. When I was almost at the car the rain started to come.. perfect since I got my morning exercise in and we needed rain. Being lazy right now but think I'll do some Wii Fit in before the day is over.
