My suggestion would be to "get it in!" Eat lunch and take a walk for several blocks. Some steps are better than no steps. Today I reached 11,364 but that was because I went to the track after dinner and took hubby, and both grandchildren to the track. It was filled with people middle age, and especially older people, and of course the youngster.

My body felt alive and I could feel the "stretch!" Walking is our friend!emoticon

I only made it to 8,045 yesterday, today I am only at 3,544. Does anyone have any ideas to get more steps in? The heat today is not going to help...LOL

I have my pedometer on and had 4,420 steps. Boy, I sure thought that I walked more than that! LOL! This means that I have to step it up!

We have had the most beautiful weather, this is the time of year to get outside. It is time to find our pedometers. I have been researching to see how taking 10,000 steps a day will help us shed those pounds. The American Council on Exercise estimates that the average person can burn up to 3,500 calories per week by walking 10,000 steps a day. Now keep in mind that 3,500 calories is equal to 1 pound. Focus on eating a reduced-calorie, nutrient-rich diet to keep your body fueled for more walking and weight loss. www.livestrong.com.

I only made it to 7,955 steps yesterday. Have to do better today.
