When your child has cancer, you have to be strong in front of so many people. I felt often that I couldn't have a bad day, because if I did, everyone would jump I with their opinions, when really I just needed a day to be angry and depressed. I found writing our CaringBridge page was good for me. And getting a morning or evening where I would just lie in bed, and watch tv, or cry was my best outlet. (And I obviously emotionally ate, hence why I am on this site)
What ways do you cope with the stress?
