Hi Adlins No worries about your schedule as I work from home and can take a break when ever someone is available to work out...beggers can't be choosers lol!!! As for the type of exercise it doesn't matter what type the other person wants to do just as long as we are doing it together as I need to have someone actually communicating with me at the same time in real time or I wont do more than 5 minutes if I even get that much done lol!!!! Check in threads are awson but for me it wont work unless I have that online buddy!!! Real time acountability is the way for me to go lol Cheers Brandi

Interesting idea. My work schedule is the complete opposite of yours. I could do skype, but am wondering if you're expecting the workout buddy to do the same workout or just workout. I used DVDs and someone else in the background doing something else could be distracting.
In lieu of Skype, would it help to have a "check-in" thread here where folks could share what they did or even that they just exercised and for how long?

My name is Brandi and I am looking for on line buddies who would like to Skype with me and work out at the same time!!! (Skype is super simple to download and you can get a good webcam for as little as $30.00) I just bought an elliptical machine which I pick up in a few days and I can’t wait lol! I have about 100 pounds to lose and I am more than ready to do it with your help! Here’s the thing with me…If I am by myself I won’t do it. BUT…if I have a buddy or if I know someone is watching me I will push myself to get done what I set out to accomplish!!!To start I am thinking 15 Minute to ½ hour workouts to start but eventually within 3 – 4 weeks I would like to be able to do 45 Minute – 1 hour sessions!!! I work nights so my ideal times would be 6 00 am est - 8 00 est – but am flexible and willing to do different times when you would be available. I want only those who are reliable and won’t come up with a thousand excuses as to why they don’t want to do it. I’m hoping I can find a few people at least who think this is a good idea and are willing to exercise with me via Skype. Even if you’re only available 1 day a week or 7 days a week I will be happy! I’m not looking to go public or be on a tv show and I am also not into getting screamed and yelled at for motivation purposes.
