Count me in!, I live here in Dayton, and actual do my marathon training on major parts of the course. I just did what I called The Pre-quel AF Marathon two weeks ago, it was base hosted 1/2 marathon. I'm newbie to running took it up this year (1-Jan 2011), day I signed up. Looking forward to meeting people, may I suggest a place here call the GREENE, as pre-meeting place the Saturday before. I did volunteer last year to work the marathon (Hydration Station), which was fun, BE WARNED BE THERE EARLY! they shutdown the roads around the base.

I would like to welcome all who join the 2011 Air Force Marathon/HM Spark Team. I wanted to start this team as this race means alot to me because Jim and I are very proud Air Force parents. When I first learned about this race last year I knew right then and there that we needed to travel to Wright-Patt to participate in this great event.
It is my biggest wish to meet up with fellow Spark runners and enjoy the weekend even if it just for race day. If you have never met with fellow Sparkers, it is a very special time.
Please feel free to make any suggestions for this team as I am very open to your ideas. The only thing that will not change is the team profile picture.
