Depending on the type of juice you are making (majority fruits or sweet veggies like carrot), the juice drinks are pretty nutritionally dense and have a decent amount of calories. However, without the fiber of the fruits and veggies your body assimilates those nutrients pretty fast. Lots of good cleansing...
Moderate workouts are fine; but due to the lack of protein (rather significantly low amounts) you don't want to do body-building strength training or you will actually loose some of the muscle, which is too hard to rebuild. So you may want to keep to gentle exercise in the low aerobic fat-burning zone (that magical 65% range).

The hubs and I are preparing to begin the 10-day juice fast starting Sunday, 14 August. My question is can we do the juice fast and still maintain our current level of physical activity. We work out 5 days a week to include both cardio and strength training. I'm just wondering is it going to zap our energy? Would love to hear about everyone's experiences. Have a wonderful day!
