Your post inspired to give the meal plan some effort and I have to say, it is only Day 4 and my energy level is completely different especially thru the workouts.
I was trying to incorporate green drinks and eating clean on my own and stick within my SP calories but I was cranky and practically lethargic and weak mid-day. Although I love the work outs when I'm done (teehee) I was also procrastinating, knowing it was going to blow my energy level for the day.
I am eating better since starting Supreme 90 Day but not following the nutrition plan that came with the DVDs. I know I have a lot of room for improvement in my eating habits! I am focusing on cleaning up my diet, eating more vegetables, drinking more water, etc.

I did 30 days of the nutrition guide that comes with it as I am a big Tosca fan. The system works when you follow both DVD and nutrition guide. When I was just doing the DVD's it did not work but I have found the same lesson over and over and over. The food is 90% determining factor in my body anyway as I have excercised lots for the past 15 years or so. Even P90X and insanity had the same results (great if you are super strict on the food part. Now with spark (just became a sparker in Nov) I am getting great results again as it is keeping my food on track. Alas I learn the lesson again!! It works but only if you eat right, at least for people who are already fairly consistent exercisers. I envy those who are new to working out as they probably get a big impact for their sweat factor. It is what I do from this minute on that decides the future and my progress. Concentrate on little steps forward and don't focus on the backward ones. Keep going forward and looking up! WE have been there, WE all can do this!

thanks for the info, ohseedee. i struggle with clean eating but really enjoy the dvds. i know the clean eating and workouts go hand in hand but can't keep it together with the eating. will have to check out those books!:)

For the first while of the program, I was not eating clean. Then I bought some of Tosca Reno's books (she is the one who created the menu for this program), and really felt she knew what she was talking about. So I have been eating a slightly relaxed version of the eating clean program, allowing for the occasional cheat.
I am really enjoying it, the structure, and how it's making me feel. I love knowing that I'm getting a good amount of protein (enough to build muscle), enough carbs (but not too many), and keeping fats and sugars in check.
The first couple of days of clean eating, I HATED the plain oatmeal, and despised the natural peanut butter. Now I love them! :P Funny how the taste buds change, eh?
