I have a friend in Florida who just sent me a note saying she had purchased this cookbook, and now she is going to buy the first slow cooker she'll have ever owned(she's in her 50's). My smile is GLOWING~I AM SO HAPPY FOR HER! Truly so she had most wonderful things to say about the cookbook, and again I am bursting with JOY, as her hubby has always been the cook in the family.

When the first "SPARK" book was released in hard back and said to be on Amazon, I had no idea we could get it at HASTINGS also. When out of town shopping one day, I stopped in to ask, and one of the upper end middle age sales clerks nearly leaped over the counter without her feet touching it....NO KIDDING....ZIPPED ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE STORE to the MOST AMAZING DISPLAY OF "CHRIS DOWNEY" forgive me please if I have misspelled his last name~ . Anyhoo this little gal knew all about spark, and it was prior to my accident(I believe, or at least prior to my relapse in weight gain). We were both fired up~my husband walked away...., so did my DAUGHTER~ (giggling I am, about that memory)!!!! This lady was moved to tears with my success story, and took 3 books to the counter for her own purchasing(one for herself, one for her sister, and one for her best friend). I was right behind her with my copy clutched close to my heart~ .

Does anybody know, is this new cookbook available at Hastings TOO???? I'd drive the hour and a half, or close to it....just to purchase a copy~if I knew! Yep, as always......SMILING SOOOOO BRIGHT!

I'm already cookbook poor but I think I will have to have this one. I bought a butternut squash today for 74 cents and have never cooked one. Sure 'nuff Chef Meg had a recipe.
