Thanks for organizing the dinner Candy. I had a great time meeting more sparkies!!
Congratulations to everyone that completed the run. If your like me, your hobbling around today with sore knees or hips or whatever thinking "I'm looking forward to my next run". Yes, my husband thinks I'm crazy too.
Thank YOU, Candy, for organizing the get-together on Saturday, it was a wonderful time to connect in person with people I've admired for awhile. I too hope it is the cementing of a lifelong friendship and running connection--we are already registered for next year's race and think we're going to have to find a few more races down that way to have an excuse to come to the Portland area. We had a blast the whole weekend!

Happy congrats to all participants of the Inaugural Portland Rock'n'Roll Half!
The rain was unexpected, but it kept things interesting for sure!
For those I was fortunate enough to meet, I hope it is the cementing of a life long friendship and running connection - you have inspired me!
For those we missed and didn't get to see - I hope you enjoyed Portland, and will come back to see us again another time.
This last weekend helped heal me in a few ways, and I am truly appreciative.
Thank you all for making it a great event!
