I have restarted the workouts but I am not following their 90 day schedule, mainly due to work constraints and other obligations in the morning (my preferred workout time). So, I am doing the s90 workouts 3 times a week. I did chest and back today. And LUNA143, I don't think I have ever completed the program in the allotted 90 days but I did finish it (like may be 2 months later)

I am restarting for the last time....this time I am going to make sure I complete the whole 90 day workout. The last time I started I got to day 38 and I was feeling awesome...until my hubby was out of the job for a few months...but now things are back on track and I am on day 2 today...haha i am super pumped this time around! emoticon

You are doing so well. When eating out - remember to order exactly what you want...Vegetables - dry & steamed. Grilled - no butter. emoticon Just use your brain when making food choices...dressing on the side, you know the drill. If you have resistance bands they work great too.

I should really dust off my bike too... I live near a canal with a tow path - very nice biking path. Today was the fitness trainer at the firehouse. Lots of shoulder work today. I was going to do shoulders & arms tomorrow, but will save it for Saturday and do a run instead. Saturday I leave town for work until the 4th. I will bring my running shoes and a couple of body weight DVD (tabata from S90 & one of my tacfit firefighter ones). I think I'll have access to a gym, but I don't usually gym lift - we'll see... I'm worried about my eating while traveling so will still try to Spark as much as I can to stay on track...

Much like you I got sidetracked. I find it easy to skip S90 much easier than anything else. I got back at it today with Back/Bi. I am considering skipping All Cardio and Tabata - considering I have running and/or biking. Hoping that is enough cardio.

Sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well - hope you are doing better? I got somewhat derailed over the past week - a lot going on and missed a few workout days.

I know what you mean about the legs routine and running. I started skipping that one when I started with the weekly training session at the firehouse, because they do a TON if squats and lunges - so consider that pretty much my legs routine day.

Got back to it...Did Back/Bi today. I have discovered I don't like doing Legs - it messes with my run days - legs are not happy if I have to do it after a long run and it won't work the day before a run.

Great job .... I am on a rest day from Supreme 90 Day. I did Chest/Shoulders/Tris yesterday..... once again, I found another exercise I have massive problems with : The Spider Walk. sometimes I feel like my forearms aren't long enough.

I'm still here! Super busy week, so I'm way behind on Spark, but totally on track for food and fitness ...and...the scale is moving again - yay! I think I was trying to do too many things all at the same time (lose weight, gain muscle, increase speed, increase endurance). I think it will be better to break into phases. First phase - steady state for my workouts, and really focus on food and getting these last 10 (now 8 - yay) pounds off. Then I can start to focus on the fitness improvements.

So for this past week:
- Monday - chest & back
- Tuesday - intervals
- Wednesday - Tabata
- Thursday - Firehouse trainer
- Friday - Steady pace 5k

Today will be an active rest day. May do a small abs routine, as they've been feeling sort of neglected (I haven't been doing ultimate ball - really don't feel the time to value ratio on that one...)

Was supposed to do a 5K today with my niece, but she's been sick the past week and with all the rain, we decided to pass (also part of the course is off road - gonna be a muddy mess I'm sure).

I did a steady pace run on Friday - it was a good one. No S90 the past two days. Saturday was our spring live burn for the fire department, so plenty of activity there - in full gear for 4 hours and climbing stairs, pulling hose, crawling around, etc. 16000+ steps according to my fitbit. This past year's focus on health and fitness is paying off - felt great! Yesterday was spent doing a lot of yard work and house cleaning - lots of running around and also 16000+ steps, so I'm ok with that. Today will be another busy day but hope to fit something in. Have a nice Memorial Day!

Well - I missed the last 2 days of Supreme 90. My calves were so tight - I had to abandon my run on Friday - so I didn't think doing legs would be great and didn't do cardio on Saturday.

I did manage to walk today and also do Total Body (day 22)

If you are overtraining your body will revolt like it did - sleep is the best thing it can get. With all your Personal training at the firehouse - I would skip S90 on those days for sure.

Well... My one rest day turned into four... I think I was run down (came home early from work Monday and immediately took a 2 hour nap). Back at it today. 4 mile run at a reasonable pace - felt great! Tomorrow is the full body circuit training with the trainer at the firehouse. We'll see what Friday brings, but likely another run. Maybe intervals.

So this last week wasn't the best - Friday I skipped Cardio Challenge...Saturday I did run, but skipped Legs as I was moving a car load from my son's house...another car load to go this coming weekend. Sunday - I was an animal: Walked, biked, and did Chest and Back. Planning on doing Supreme 90 Ultimate Ball this afternoon after a 5.53 run with intervals this morning.

Thanks for your input - yes, overtraining had crossed my mind. I was going through a period where I wasn't even feeling sore (like, at all) following my workouts. Now I am, and I do consider that a positive thing, but may have to back off slightly to find the right balance where I still have good energy through my runs. Anyway, will be taking a complete rest day today :).

I must have already picked your brain on the IT band (hard to remember who I ask what around here!) - I have been doing some of the exercises from the video, so maybe I will try some small inclines again and see how it feels. Now that I am looking at this site in more detail there is so much to learn about pacing and splits and all sorts of stuff! Thanks again..

First, it could be believe it or not you are overtraining. Your body isn't recovered from previous workouts - make sure you take a rest day from running or go easy running very low heart rate.

Inclines - well I only run outside in FL. It is difficult to get much on inclines, but I do have some small hills in my runs. Look at strengthrunning.com for his ITB rehab exercises. You can do them daily to strength it. I am lucky right now Tabata & Cardio Challenge fall on my walk days. I will move them around next week to find the same thing.

Last night was the trainer circuit training at the firehouse - pretty good, I tried to push myself.

This morning was a treadmill run (4mi). I notice my energy level during my last few runs has not been spectacular. My interval runs have been ok, but I've been dragging a bit during my steady pace run. Sometimes I've just been able to get in a groove and before I know it I've done more than the distance I've intended, but not so much lately.

Could be a number of things - I've upped my strength training, and have cut my calories slightly to get the scale moving again. Spring allergies also, so could be them or the meds. One day I'll find the right balance for increased strength, endurance, energy, and decreased weight & body fat.

Question for you - do you incorporate any inclines in your runs? I'm planning on a stair climb event in July, and incline running can help prepare. But I found it bothered my knee (IT band), so I backed off.

I love the Tabata DVD also - just having trouble finding where to fit it in with everything else!!

Congrats on the regular pushups. I typically do them, but at the end of some of the workouts my arms are so shredded that I am lucky I can do them on my knees.

Did Tabata workout yesterday ( I emoticon this workout) and today will be shoulders & arms. I will probably be missing my Legs workout on Saturday as I need to drive to my son and move out a load of his stuff - in preparation for his move to Dallas TX and his first job.

Great interval run this morning 5+ miles. LEGS was on tap for the day. I am exhausted.

My clicks are when I go from hammer curl to lateral raise.

Well, this second half if this week didn't go quite as planned. Had a great interval run on Wednesday. Had a somewhat stressful work day Thursday and came home and overate :( We just signed on a trainer for our fire department, and Thursday night was the first session - it was a group circuit training session. Pretty good. But I ate too much again Friday and didn't work out - have been feeling tired and hungry. Maybe seasonal allergy related. Anyway, getting back on track today - will post back later once I figure out what workout I'm doing today.

I do log all my workouts on Spark. I log the S90s as a circuit workout for whatever time the video is.

For the clicks, where are they happening and at what part of the move? Any pain? I have always had a click in my left forearm when doing hammer curls - not at the joint, more of some type of tendon thing I guess. No shoulder issues.

Yesterday was an awesome Shoulders & Arms. Today is Cardio Challenge.

Questions: Do you log all your workouts with calorie burn & time? I am hearing pops ( not loud more like clicks) when I do lateral raises with hammercurls even with light weights...I have had both shoulders freeze in the past, requiring manipulations, anyone else??

Well yesterday didn't work out as planned - some stuff came up at work and I had a commitment in the evening so missed my window of opportunity to work out. Bummer... Got up early today and did legs & chest/ back. That actually worked out quite well - with dropping the first cool down / second warm up, doing together only took a little more than an hour.

Tomorrow - sprints / intervals.

Yay - glad I won't be here by myself ! I did Ultimate ball Saturday. My ball was a bit low on air, so filled it up - that helped a bit for some moves where I had been rolling all over the place. But didn't help with the plank ups - I can't get them either. Today I'm doing legs. (Since I'm running & doing stair days, I'm not following their schedule completely). Love the changes I'm seeing so far!

So I am back after a new reset - vacation & college graduation. Did Day 1 yesterday and will complete Ultimate Ball when I get home this afternoon. Still can't do pike ups after 2 series of Supreme 90

Hi Gidget & Lightningrunner. I'm still making progress... Sunday was chest & back, Monday was my first time doing legs, and Tuesday was my usual treadmill intervals. Unfortunately in the middle of the night / early Wednesday morning I woke up suddenly with the worse calf cramp I've ever had. My calf clenched so bad that the shin muscles on both of my legs then started to cramp up too - bizarre! Never had an experience like that. I already eat a banana every day and will need to do more stretching I guess. Incidentally, I've done plenty of post workout stretch routines over the years, and I have to say the one for Supreme90 is my favorite.

So I took off Wed & Thurs (also had a lot going on at work too) and did shoulders & arms yesterday. Today I'm signed up for a twilight 5K.

Hope you are having great progress!!

So glad I found this page! Can't seem to get anyone to join me with the workouts. I'm hoping this page will keep me honest. I seem to have strong starts and dwindle down around day 28.
BUT I love the workouts and am getting back on track. Lost 4pounds and more importantly 4 inches.

Today is Day 7 LEGS.

Thursday I did Shoulders & Arms and also Tabata. Yesterday was my 5K run. Today is a rest day, although I might do some yoga. I'm feeling mildly sore, which I'm happy about - I've missed that feeling!

LisaLyn218 - I had similar results. Program completed, I lost about 3-4 pounds, but lost over 7 inches around my stomach. That alone was worth the effort. Enjoy the ride and the end result will be even more fun.

Day 89 - Core Dynamics this morning
Day 90 - Cardio Challenge this afternoon
This completes my second go-round with S90.
I'm sure there will be a third time through it in the future. This is a great program.

Tomorrow will be a genuine day of rest and celebration.

The lunges with reach used to send my low back into pain and spasms, but today the back took it all in stride without murmur or complaint. That was a wonderful discovery.
