Hmm, that's really hard to say, it depends so much on the year. But I guess the first ones that came to mind were songs by Hoobastank (lol, I know, really weird band name) that came out/I was listening to during sophomore-senior years in high school. In particular, I'm thinking of "Running Away," "Let You Know," and "The Reason." I guess really any alt. rock (I think? I always get my genres mixed up) from 2000-2004. Incubus, Hoobastank, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jet, etc.

I would have to say the songs from John Travolta's movie Saturday Night Fever. I believe that came out around the time I was graduating from H.S. But, I have to say, that Dirty Dancing movie is one of my all time favorites as well as that "Time of My Life" song. I, too, have watched that movie many times. I could probably watch the last 10 minutes over and over when Baby and Johnny do their dancing at the end.
Hmmm...maybe "I'm A Believer" by the Monkees, but then I started getting into Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Janice Joplin...

Mine is, and please don't throw up, (I had enough of that with my daughter last night, but that is a different post...), is "I've Had the Time of My Life" from Dirty Dancing. That movie came out the summer between my eighth grade and freshman years--and I think I saw it 7 times in the theater....
