I started good today carrot, apple , tangerine, orange juice fresh. with raw protein powder .
The tangerines and apple were organic I think the orange was.

Then hot crossed buns. At least a good start.

Day 8 today. Lost two pounds that have been hanging out waiting to come off. Feeling a little bit better today, though still tired. Exercised a full hour this morning, at a somewhat slower pace.

Today is day 7 100% raw. Haven't lost any weight for a couple of days, but that's okay, since I had a big loss in the first few days. I exercised today for the first time since I got back to raw. I had been faithfully doing an hour or more 3-4 times per week, but had fallen off for the past couple of months. I'm recommitting to regular exercise. It was harder this morning than it's been in a while, but it will come back quickly, I'm sure.

Just getting back to raw vegan. This is day 6 of 100% and I've lost 8 lbs, so that's encouraging. I did well with raw vegan a few years back, but started doing too much fat, lost momentum, hit the holidays and gave up. Took a detour into low-carb vegetarian, and it worked for a while, but I never felt like I was getting enough fresh produce, and didn't like not eating fruit. So I think I have my mojo back for raw vegan (this time more of an 80/10/10 approach). So far, so good I feel better already, though I'm tired today -- think I might be detoxing.

I hear you are a celebrity now, congratulations on all your success!

I am doing great and so is the family. I am creeping close to a new goal and hoping to jumop that hurdle this week, no stress no pressure. Just doing what I have been.
I do have to make sure exercise is not cut out when my schedule gets too busy. I have to make time no matter what.

When I get this way, I look for inspiration and smother myself in it. I become obsessive in it, fired up and completely submerged. Where there is raw foodies read, youtube raw videos, DVDs, reading.....what ever sources you have or can find, live, breathe and eat them up.
Become what you see, hear, and soon enough their excitment rubs off on you. Soon enough you are back on track. You can do this!!!

I brought a ton of raw veggies to work to snack on. I made a semi-raw dip to go along with it ~~ raw cashews blended with soy sauce and extra virgin olive oil. I also have some raw pumpkin seeds.

Nut milk yogurts do not require heating at all. I posted here a recipe awhile back when this question was asked, on the chat thread. You can always Google it too, many raw foodies have recipes for raw yogurts, using nut /seed milks.

KS_PRINCESS, good for you! I have a budget and seldom exceed it and in my cart is all produce, nuts and seeds. I am so proud when I check out and I have many, many bags and a cart filled and my bill is under $100.00 a week for three of us.

I feel better, I do better and I am better!! Because I am healthier! And that makes me happy!

I know this probable isn't exactly right, but last fast I make all my juices at one time, and just got it over with. Juiced everything each morning for the day. I thought, it is not much difference than taking them to work.

I am working toward 100% raw and then will do a fast. I dove into one awhile back coming off eating terrible and about died from the detox, it was very hard on me. I think this might work better so I can stick to it longer. One week would be an accomplishment, anything more I would see as a huge bonus.

You can do it, Sweetlips!!! I loved doing the juice feast/fast -- but I was sooo ready to be done with it after 5 days. Not because I didn't enjoy the juices, but I was SO tired of cleaning the juicer!! Haha! Such a pain! And doing it 3 times a day was irritating. We resorted to a lot of coconut water from our yard during snacks so we didn't have to mess with that thing again :)

I too lurk and read. I have been eating more raw and actually am loving it.
I am looking at 70%-100% with some days all the way.
As well as looking at a reboot, just not sure when I will embark on that. I want to get cleaner before facing that, as I do not want a horrible detox.

There is no other way to feel optimal for me, than eating green, clean and raw.

This was technically my first day of eating raw. Had a couple of green smoothies, some grapes, an apple, and a quinoa, roasted cauliflower salad. Was pretty good. After that I still felt hungry and had a granola bar. Not sure I could do a super high raw diet, but aiming for 70%.

Hey all! Long time since I've been posting here -- been lurking around the forums, but just so busy.

I got pretty far away from raw in the last year - it's pretty difficult where I live now, because options are limited, imports are expensive, and I SWEAR the soil on this island must be depleted because anything grown locally tastes SO bitter to me when I try to eat it raw :(

But I am hoping to get back to at least a higher percentage of raw intake, and to kick of the new year, my hubby and I are doing a 5-day juice fast/detox! Only on day two, and - oh Heavens - I can tell I've had a lot of junk gathering in my body. But i know I feel great once I get to days 4 and 5, so just trying to keep plugging through! Thought I'd distract myself with a bit of Sparking ;-) But I may have to go nap to sleep off this headache...

Hope everyone's having a great start to their new year!!!

If I remember correctly 108 is the temperature...but I'm not positive. I'm excited about getting back on track. I will be grocery shopping tomorrow and stocking up on all those yummy raw foods.

Have been doing well with eating raw this week... gave in last night and had two snack packs of cheetos while handing out treats to trick or treaters... followed by some beef and rice soup that my husband made. Oh well- today is a new day. At least managed to stay within my caloric intake so still on track with weight loss goals.

My raw eating has stopped for about a week now. I plan on getting back on track when I get paid on Friday. Right now we (the family) are a very tight budget ~ translation: no money until payday. For now I'm eating regular foods. I'm trying to eat healthy and some raw, but I want to do more raw.

I am eating more vegetables and greens. I need the energy I have been missing.
I just have to listen carefully to my body, it is screaming green, colors, crunch, and brightness.

I'm reminding myself of that. I do feel better when I eat raw. At the begining of the year I did about 3 months of all raw (except the coffee I drink) and I felt amazing. I need to get back to that. I need to remind myself that emoticon Thanks for all the support!
