Omega 3's said to reduce lung inflammation, so salmon, or oily fish.
And apparently onions and scallions reduce inflammation.
My daughter used to have exercise induced asthma which was particularly bad when she was skating (she was a figure skater). I used to find that a rich broth (homemade) helped her out.
I'm not to up on the mechanics of asthma...which comes first the inflammation or the mucus? Maybe some of them will help specifically. I have some interesting nutrition books which may have something more specific...let you know. cher

I have been suffering from asthma for approximately 4 years and during that time my sinus stay stopped up and I have too much mucous in my throat that keeps me coughing and swallowing all the time to try to keep it clear. I take medication that helps with the coughing but it does nothing to help clear the mucous from my throat.
Is there any superfoods that I could possible try to help with this situation?
