We are having a bar-b-que. We'll do chicken breast (boneless,skinless, of course), shrimp, salmon, pork for the He-Man Meat Eaters Club, and alot of healthy sides like my cucumber salad, a three bean salad, raw veggies to crunch on, I make baked sweet potato chips, grilled corn on the cob, some grilled veggies like bell peppers, onions, zucchini, asparagus, and green beans. For desert I'm making a parfait using sugar free angel food cake, some fresh berries, fat free pudding, and some sugar free whipped cream, and my ever popular red, white and blue jello bowl, complete with strawberries and blueberries in it. Drinks will be fruit juices mixed with carbonated water, lots of cold spring water, and green tea sweetened with honey.
We're bringing along horse shoes, bad-mitten, a football, a bat and ball, and a frisbee. The ladies will be walking after our dinner. We are going to a local park with great walking paths and a lot of small wildlife, like birds, turtles, and bunnies, for the kids to see.
