I first encountered the book on Oprah a fe years ago. I bought both the first two books an just a few weeks ago, I bought the diet book.
Why did you join this team? I joine to meet others who were passionate about the benefits of superfoods an to get insights to new resources, recipes and meet new people who feel the same way.
What superfood are you exploring now? Honey- I shyed away from honey because it was just like sugar. I've been really looking into it and I want to try to find some local Buckwheat organic raw honey. Finding organic and raw is probably going to be hard, especially if I try to find buckwheat.
I stumbled on the book at the local grocery store in the cookbook area, browsed it a little and was intrigued so I bought SuperFoods Rx. I haven't bought any of the other ones yet.
I'm going to explore teas ~ was reading interesting information about how it can help the brain :) Just finished exploring spinach. Had always hated canned spinach :::shudders::: but found I love fresh spinach like i used to use iceberg lettuce, and just barely steamed wilted in stir fries as the last ingredient added :)
I joined the team because this stuff excites me! I got so tired of "diet" rules and lists of foods I couldn't eat ~ I finally decided I needed to find foods that nourished me both physically and emotionally, that I could enjoy and eat guilt free!

How did you encounter this book? I happened upon this team after joining SparkPeople, didn't actually realize it was based on a book until I started reading the message boards - checked them out at my local library.
Why did you join this team? I am looking to change my habits to healthier and more natural foods so am looking to get health benefits of a variety of foods. Do not plan to incorporate only Super Foods into my meals but would like make sure that they are a regular feature in meals.

Well, I am new here, but will answer your questions...
I have been reading a lot of diet/fitness books lately, borrowing from the library, and on one of my visits I decided to visit the "new releases" section, or "bestsellers" or something along those lines, and I saw the superfoods RX diet book and thought I would check it out and read it. Turns out I really liked it and what they had to say really went right along with everything else I had been reading, but it seemed like a simpler plan to follow!
I just joined this team today, because I just finished the basics of the book and thought it would be nice to have all the encouragement and help from people that have been doing it for a while and people that are just starting as well!
Well, I don't know that I have a favorite right now, because I am new at it. I have been doing a lot of the black tea, as far as exploring goes. I am actually getting ready to put together my first superfood grocery list! Wish me luck!
