emoticon I think this is *so* cool.
I've used salt, for years (1 stick lasts so long that when I buy a new one, I can't remember the last time I bought one ... lol) and before, I discovered salt, I bought natural organic pit stick at the health food store.
Some where, shortly after high school, I came across something explaining about the chemicals and their damages, in a typical pit stick.
(I emoticon independent labs.)

I would consider, swapping out the salt and, doing this.
Although, it's definitely more work.

No, actually I think Laura is right; we did have a recipe for coconut oil deodorant somewhere or at least a thread where we were talking about it. I do like the suggestions on this link with more details of things you can add to really kill odor---if you need it.

Coconut oil and coconut everything ROCKS!

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

ANIDUCKTHISTLE just posted the article below with the recipe....is this what you meant???

The recipe I use is 1/4 c baking soda, 1/4 c cornstarch and 5-6 T coconut oil. Mix together and store in glass jar. I love it!

Someone had posted a CO deodorant recipe. I printed it out and keep planning on making some. I'm on my iPhone so it is hard for me to find the thread right now...
