Haven't been here for a few years. Find it a bit confusing. I need a good push. I have all kinds of plans ... then excuse myself out of some of them. I'm trying to incorporate many of Dr. Oz's tips and I've "re-joined" my gym after 2 years of working horrible hours.
Hi I'm Marsha. I'm 58 years old and 20 pounds is exactly what I want to lose! I started a couple of weeks ago at 167 and I have lost 4 pounds. Hope we can encourage each other. I also signed up for the "beating the sugar habit" challenge.

Hi everyone! I'm Kristen, I'm 26 and just joined sparkpeople last week. This is far from my first attempt at losing weight though- I've been off and on weightwatchers since I was 18, and have lost and gained 40 pounds *twice* in my life. So far I am absolutely loving this site and am hoping that this challenge will propel me through the first stages of my weight loss journey.

Hi team! I'm Rachel. I'm descending into slothdom, and I'd like to use the onset of spring and this group to motivate me otherwise. :) Between the 25+ lbs. I put on during grad school (10 *gulp* years ago), and the 10-15 I've lost and gained and lost and gained on top of that, I'm ready for a change.
I weigh as much now as I did when I got pregnant with my son almost two years ago, but it's all shifted. LOL. Would like to try for another baby by the end of the year, but would like to feel better before we do.

Hi, this is Lee. I am struggling to get back on the wagon after doing so well in 2009. This sounds like a motivated team and I am just in time to weigh in tomorrow.!

Hi! I am Courtney and I started my own challenge to lose 25 pounds in 25 weeks, just in time for my beach vacation. This challenge fits is perfectly with that goal! Instead of some drastic diet, I am working on making smaller long term changes.

Hello!! I am Angel, and I too just failed at the 30 in 30 challenge. Hoping that the shorter time frame may help keep me on better track. Plus this one will end just before my anniversary, so that is something to work towards and to celebrate.
Good luck to us all.

I'm Jenn and I'm working on getting back to a healthy weight after having 2 kids too close together. I lost 20 lbs in a 30 week challenge--10 short of my goal. If I complete this challenge, I'll be to my goal weight by my goal time.
