Welcome, PyrateWench2!

Hello, Everyone!

I never really considered what I do so much as just doing it - so I guess I sort as it comes out. I really like to catch the dryer before the clothes are all the way dry so I can pull them out and hang/fold them before they get wrinkled. I have been known to throw a wet towel in if they get to dry and wrinkled, but I don't think it works so well.

If they get wrinkled, they pretty much need an iron or they look like I stole them from a baglady. Can't stand that look. Too many people here are iron fanatics so I would really stand out like a slob. Besides, we don't mind ironing on demand in our house. At one time we had so many clothes that they pretty much didn't need hangers as they were so stuffed in the closet. You had to iron them before you put them on anyway so we started ironing on demand. For us, it works better all the way around.

Have a great one.

Good morning and thanks for the welcome!!

I take clothes that go on hangers and hang up in the laundry room (usually just toss to get wrinkles out, then hang to finish drawing; I hate to iron!). Then, everything else gets tossed into the basket and is sorted, folded, and put away inside the house.

Happy Sunday to everyone! Gina

I fold the clothes at the dryer and stack them on top in piles of whom they belong too. I try to grab and fold the biggest items first so the pile works better.
My DD grabs her pile from there and I take DH's and my piles to our dressers where he usually puts his away and I usually don't. I just re-wear them so they might as well be on top;}

I sort it as I put it in the basket. When I am really energetic, ill get the hangers beforehand and put the items on the hanger first instead of folding them. I don't know why I don't do this all the time as its much easier to put away haha.

Good morning team!

Sorry for being late today.

When you fold your clean laundry, do you "sort it in the basket" the way it is to go in your closet or dresser, or do you just put it all in one pile and sort it as you put away?
