I used to bite my nails very short. Then I wore acrylics nails off and on. Now I don't bite them and let them grow but they don't get very long before they break.

Used to wear acrylics and they were about 1" long, after that they just got in the way.
Speed typing and long nails don't mix. Even an inch is too long.

Besides, with the constant all day long typing that I do, they now wear themselves down at strange angles as I don't wear acrylics any longer there isn't any protection for my weak nails.

Spent the day in a strawberry field - long nails probably wouldn't work there so well either.

Have a good one! emoticon

short - I'm a speed typist so having my nails too long just doesn't work for me emoticon

Smile .... it makes people wonder what you're up to ;-)

The fourth glass of wine is always a good idea before you do it and a really bad idea afterward! ;-)

I let them grow up to maybe a 1/4" of white before cutting back down to about 1/8".

I like them to have just a "little" bit of length to them...prob about 1/16" of an inch. I used to wear them long back in the day, but it really was a pain for typing. So finally, I thumped my head and said to myself...wear them shorter...lol

I have acrylic nails so I dont have to fuss with them myself.

What length do you like your fingernails to be?
