Look interesting. Too high carb for me. I've been eating mung bean fettucine. It's pretty good!

Very tasty, grain free root product. Sort of weird at first cuz they are translucent. I like to cook them and then cut them up a bit (they're pretty slippery) and put them under things like soups, sauces and stews

I also use kuzu root starch to thicken things. I really like it. but it's not the cheapest thing around. It only takes a little to satisfy me. I cook up a bit and use some of it putting the rest in the fridge for later.

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

Got a savory pot of chicken/veggie soup on the stove waiting for me to plop it over some pre-cooked kuzu noodles in a deep bowl. Looking forward to it!

I cooked a lot today to have meal ready for the week. We ate a roasted chicken with some sauted brussels sprouts with bacon and browned butter vinaigrette. It was very good!

A WEE bit gassy. lol
We had been in town all day. I was simply STARVING!!!! The rest of the family wanted to go there, and it wasn't too hard to talk me into it. lol

Anyhow, today was the Williams Lake Stampede. So I ended up having the chicken souvlaki and Greek salad. Not too bad. Could have been much worse!!!

Oh My Dog! How'd you feel after that, Laura? Yeah, I know; sometimes we simply have to do what has to be done. What, did your daughter win a softball tournament or something? That's when we all went to DQ and ate junk food. Thankfully, my son is all grown up now and does that sort of thing with his own kids. LOL!

Anyway, tonight I had a very light dinner of cottage cheese (homemade) and a cut up peach with kefir drizzled over for moisture (my cottage cheese is just dry curd) and cinnamon.

Funky little salad I just invented:
Avocado chunks
Mango chunks
Chopped walnuts that had been soaked and dehydrated
Whipped coconut milk
A sprinkle of cinnamon
3 or 4 drops stevia extract

This is so good I think I can serve it to guests.

Left-over stuff from my granddaughter's lunch: Green mashed sweet potato (green by broccoli), grass-fed beef hot dog. I also tossed in a fried duck egg for myself. All good

I've posted this as a sticky on a couple of my other teams (thanks for inviting me to help lead the team Dee) and the thread is always an active one, so I thought I would post it here as well.

Simply post what you had (or are having) for dinner. I TRY to be 100% primal/paleo, but of course some of us go by an 80/20 rule which is just fine and also can be impractical for those of us who have families that still want to have a "pizza or pasta" night. lol Sometimes spaghetti squash isn't what my family has in mind...
