You said, "a nice good pace that raises a sweat but doesn't kill you"

Ahh, so that does sound like my evening dog walks are about right. Yay! Thanks for the confirmation.

Welcome jazzid - just follow the 3 or so things I have highlighted. Tomorrow is the pantry cleanout - trying to remove non primal stuff (processed foods - grains) from your cabinet and kitchen emoticon We are eating up some of the last of the low carb but not primal stuff tonight. The rest is easy! Primal walking is just that walking! Not cardio get there as fast as you can walking - a nice good pace that raises a sweat but doesn't kill you emoticon

Lots of rest and play too! There will be lots of good advice I am sure! Me I am going to try to do without dairy - my downfall. That is a step above this challenge. Mark says to go ahead and have quality high fat dairy in moderation.

1. Breathe in
2. Breathe out

My husband and daughter are not on board yet, so I have created a shelf in the fridge for my meals and ingredients. I went grocery shopping and bought the ingredients for 7 meals from the Quick and Easy cookbook and have made 3 of them so far. I keep reminding myself that I'm retraining my taste buds to like this way of eating and that the longer I go without carbs/sugar the quicker they will learn.

So, does Trick or Treat Walking count as primal walking? Normally, I try to walk my dog in the evenings for 1.3 miles at 45 minutes, is that a good primal walk?

I'm in. I'm going to have a hard time with the pantry clean out, as my boyfriend doesn't want to join me on this yet. So.....I have been working on spliting up the space. We have a backup fridge in the garage, so that is where his frozen pizzas, beer, and other non-primal cold stuff goes. If he buys cookies, little debbies, etc, those go on top of the cabinets (I'm 5'0", he's 6'2", so it works). While it's not perfect, all of his stuff is generally out of reach or out of sight, so the temptation is much lower.

To Donnadurango - if you message me with your email address, I can try to send you the files. They are PDFs.

Oh I chose the 1st because the timing works out for me - Monday is Halloween and I don't want to worry about temptations. I weigh in/measure on Tuesdays so shrug - worked for me! Also ends the 22nd then emoticon sneaky eh? Not that it changes much I am really looking forward to a healthy reminder!

I am also going to take before and after photos emoticon Yikes!! I just haven't had the courage to do that.

I plan on blogging daily about the challenges and choices too.

I look forward to the company everyone!

I don't know how I am going to do that since I am not taking my children on this journey with me yet.

I got my book today and have been busy reading it off and on all day.
I will be starting the book on Monday, Oct 31, as he recommends starting on Monday.
Glad there will be some others starting the Challenge too.

Hi all anyone interested in following the 21 day plan starting the 1st? Figure it sets me up with a healthy reminder for the holidays coming up. If so I look forward to hearing from you! I think it will be good to get back to some solid basics.
