The recommendation in the book is to do the cardio and transform back to back, however it does say if you need to split it up, to do so. If you are really struggling to get both in, another thought would be to alternate days, do cardio one day and transform the next. Do your best, and if you do split them up one in the morning and one in the afternoon or evening, I don't think that will hinder your results.
