Today is a Kale Green Smoothie day. I'm usually not super excited for those days (about every 4). I quit adding any sweetner to my smoothies several weeks ago and just use the fruits and veggies (besides the protein powder) and usually LOVE my green smoothies. BUT on Kale day, I don't exactly love them. Ok I have to admit they fill me up more on kale day, sometimes I can't even finish them, I KNOW how good kale is for you and will NOT stop adding it to my green smoothies, but on kale day, my green smoothie tastes more and more like grass. I've gotten them where I add more greens than fruit (this was a process and I'm not going back on it) and I know it's healthy. Just wondering if anyone else has this Kale ho hum attitude. Like I said I KNOW how awesome it is for you and will never quit adding it, but I'm just not as excited to drink it.
Today was fresh pineapple, frozen cherries and KALE!!!! Oh and plain almond milk.
Just curious is anyone else has the ho hum like of kale.
