I think we all have so much to do. I had always heard that retirement was boring. Doesn't sound like anyone has that problem.
I haven't had much computer time this week. Our new furniture arrived but the couch and chair were the wrong colour. I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to having the LR done. I do have to shop around for a coffee table and end table. I won't buy until I see what I want at the price I am willing to pay.
Lot of BD's this week too. our granddaughter Chloe was 7 on Tuesday, her brother Jonah will be 11 tomorrow and our youngest granddaughter Jenna will be 5 on Sunday.
We are going to our daughter Deb's (Jenna's mom) house tomorrow for the weekend . They live about 2 hours away and want help with some yard work.

WORKED IN THE GREENHOUSE AT THE COLLEGE THIS MORNING GETTING PLANTS READY TO GO TO THE JONES COUNTY UNIT AS DONATIONS. GOT INTO SOMETHING I WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO AND NOW MY ARMS ARE BROKE OUT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT CAUSED IT BUT I HAVE A FEELING IT WAS THE BROMELIADS. CAN'T BE 100% SURE THOUGH AS I WAS ALSO TIDYING UP THE GRENHOUSE SO WE COULD HAVE ROOM TO MOVE. MADE SEVERAL TRIPS IT THE COMPOST PILE. I DIDN'T SEE ANY POISON AROUND THERE BUT ALL I HAVE TO DO IS BE DOWN WIND OF IT AND I WILL BREAK OUT.

HUBBY STAID HOME TODAY AS HE CAN'T WEAR A SHIRT OR JEANS. HIS LEGS ARE BROKE OUT THE WORSE AND ALSO ONE OF HIS "CHEEKS". HIS FRONT SIDE IS BROKE OUT ACROSS HIS BELLY AND ON HIS CHEST.

ONE CEILING IS DONE. GRANDSON CAME OUT AND HELPED PAINT CEILING AND CUT GRASS FOR US. THAT IS REALLY A HELP. HOPE TO GET WALLS SANDED AND PAINTED. WHEN THAT ROOM IS DONE RENTAL CAN MOVE HER STUFF IN THAT ROOM IF SHE NEEDS TOO. IT WAS WHERE MOM HAD HER HOT TUB WHICH WAS BROKEN WE REMOVED IT. IT IS NOW A NICE SUN ROOM.

OUR FRIENDS CAME HOME FROM MICHIGAN AND BROUGHT US FRESH ASAPRGUS AND MUSHROOMS. I LOVE THE ASPARGUS. ANYBODY GOT A GOOD RECEIPE FOR ASPARGUS . I USUALLY STEAM IT IN MCROWAVE THEN ADD SALT AND BUTTER.

Good to hear everyone is busy. Those calories are burning away, yay!!! Anjay, have a safe and wonderful trip. Barbie, hope those stretches do the trick. I can't even imagine that pain. So sorry you have to go through it. Lottie, my daughter was getting hives like that on her face. The dr. told her that some people get allergies in the Spring and some people get dermatitis. Hers is dermatitis from the weather, I never heard of such a thing! I wonder if your hubby's is anything like it? Oh Kay, you were right!!! My tomato plant has a couple new little leaves right at ground level!! I didn't think it would grow back because the leaves were all gone. All that the critter left was about 2 or 3 inches of stick above the ground. I'm so happy, yay!! Plus, I found the very top and put it in water and it's rooting. Don't know why the thing wanted to eat the stem but, oh well. Be careful with that extension pole. I hurt my back very badly once using one of those. I'm afraid of them now. Guess i extended myself too much and with the scoliosis it really did a number on me. Sorry about your hubby's glaucoma acting up. I think my ex is getting that. He sees dark spots in the middle of things when he's looking at stuff. Trying to get him to go to an eye doctor. Well, the rain stopped so i'm going to run out and try to get a few more tomatoes in the ground. Have a nice night ladies.

Well I have been doing a lot of stretches with my feet to stretch out the tendons , I believe it may be helping a little . will be able to tell more about it next week weather or not it is doing the trick .

HAD A GREAT DAY YESTERDAY BUT HUBBY GOT BAD NEWS AT EYE DR PRESSURE IS UP IN HIS GLAUCOMA EYE. DR ADDED ANOTHER DROP. DR SAID THIS HAPPENS SOMETIMES. HE GOES BACK IN A MONTH TO HAVE PRESSURE CHECKED AGAIN.

WE GOT A LOT SUPPLIES FOR HOUSE. I GOT A LONG EXTENSION ROLLER FOR CEILING SO I DON'T HAVE TO GET UP AND DOWN ON LADDER.

THE ALLERGIST SAID THEY WERE COMING FROM THE INSIDE. HE HAS NOT EATEN ANYTHING NEW THAT I KNOW OF. WILL BE GLAD WHEN HE CAN GO BACK TO WORK.

IN CLASS FOR LAB TODAY, WE PULLED WEEDS AND PRUNED BACK SOME SHRUBS. I AM TAKING AN IRRIGATION CLASS AND I GET A CHANCE TO DRAW A LANDSCAPE AGAIN EXCEPT THIS TIME USING IRRIGATION LINES INSTEAD OF PUTTING THE PLANTS IN. SHOULD BE INTERESTING.

IT IS DEFINITELY HOT OUTSIDE TODAY. THE HUMIDITY DOESN'T HELP EITHER.

Well yet another day of hobbling around with feet pain :(
Going to try and get into see a orthopedic next week about them before I get to the point where I can not walk at all and believe me it is getting there :(

Rose : Is the hive coming from something maybe he ate recently that he had never eaten before ?
Some foods will do that , hope he gets better from them soon !

ALSO I FOUND A RECIPE THAT SAID A 1/2 CUP GARLIC POWER & 1/2 CUP HOT CHILI POWDER MIXED IN GALLON WATER TO SPRAY YOUR PLANTS. I DIDN'T KNOW THE RABBITS WOULD EAT TOMATO PLANTS . YOUR TOMATO PLANT MAY GROW BACK. PROBABLY TAKE A LONG TIME.

Thanks everyone regarding my foot troubles , plantar fasiitsis is very painful and limits you to what you can do that is for sure : ( and I have it both feet .
Started last night soaking my feet plus rolling the ice bottle and really trying to do the stretch every time I set down and before I get up to go again . Really hope this helps too .

Well I thought since I got the ole feet in not so bad a shape this morning I would clean my bedroom and kitchen , so far got the floors swept and scrubbed . Just have to dust the furniture now and clean the bathroom in there . Then hope to be able to move to the living room and get it cleaned and dusted .

Also got to run to town later and pick up hubby's b/p med refill .
So a busy day hobbling around .......Everyone Take Care ! Have A Great Monday !

Momma really enjoyed her birthday party a lot. She got a lot of really great gifts and we all enjoyed each others company. Helped her set out petunias in her hanging baskets before the party.

Going to call my allergist to see if I can get him in this morning. She said she would be glad to see him. The other doctor just diagnosed it as we already knew what it was just not how to treat it Charged $170.00 just to tell him what we already knew and gave him nothing to stop the itch. Have been going through this all weekend.

As for me, I don't know what I am going to be doing this morning. Will find something I am sure.

Hi ladies,
What a busy weekend. Worked all day today on pallets. So far i have 4 raised beds made out of them and today we worked on making fence sections. I think i'm going to love it. Maybe it will help keep that STUPID rabbit out. This morning i got up to find that one of my tomato plants has been eatin to just a couple inch stub. I've been growing that thing for over 2 months now and it was big and beautiful!!! UGH! I've been spraying tobasco sauce on my plants and i thought it was working. Many of my flowers are just little nubs now too. Anyway, the fence will be decorative if nothing else. Yesterday i had to go to a friends funeral and get together afterward. Got a lot of weeding done afterward. Tomorrow is supposed to rain so i should work in my messy house i guess. Barbie, i sure hope you find something that works for your foot pain. I feel so bad for you. Kay, i totally understand the water thing. I have to use a Brita pitcher and filter because my city water tastes and smells so much like bleach that it makes me sick as soon as i drink it. Sounds like everyone has been very busy and fruitful lately. Glad you all check in so we can keep up with all your goings on. It's fun, isn't it? Well, good night. Sleep well everyone. GRANDSON CAME AND HELPED YESTERDAY ON RENTAL. WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS BUT STILL HAVE A LOT TODAY.

HADA WONDERFUL SUNDAY SCHOOL AND CHURCH SERVICE. RESTED THE AFTERNOON, HUBBY IS NOW PUTTING OUR NEW UNDER SINK WATER FILTER IN. I AM GLAD TO HAVE IT BACK. I LIKE THE FILTERED WATER. I HATE TASTE OF CITY WATER. WE ALWAYS HAD WELL WATER UNTIL A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN PUMB BROKE AND WE PUT IN CITY WATER. WE STILL HAVE A HAND PUMB THAT WORKS.

What a beautiful sunny day today. I know I will get in all my water today.

I am getting a lot of cleaning done and by tomorrow our new window coverings will be up in the living room.

Anjay, my hubby is very handy and he loves to keep busy. He is also a perfectionist and does a good job whatever he tackles.
Some days are very hard for him since his brain injury. He realizes that he can't do what he used to be able to do, but I Thank God everyday for what he can still do.. He could have been so much worse. It just takes longer to finish a project because sometimes he pushes himself too hard and then he will crash and he will have to rest for a day or two. It doesn't bother me but he has a hard time dealing with it.
I do believe that things happen for a reason and only God knows what is best.

I hope everyone enjoys their Victoria Day weekend.

Does anyone have any sick hummingbirds at their house this year ?

I have one , not sure but I think is the avian bird flu , really have no way to determine this other them it has some of the symptoms from my own diagnosis of it . So bad as I hate to going to have to dispose of it . Can not have sick birds nor animals lerking around to make me , my family or dogs sick .

ROSE SO NICE YOU STILL HAVE YOUR MOM. I MISS MY PARENTS. IT THEIR HOUSE THAT WE ARE REMODELING TO RENT. WE MOVED ON THE PROPERTY TO TAKE CARE OF THEM AFTER DAD HAD A STROKE. HE WAS ONLY 59 DIED AT 64. THAT WAS IN 1976 BEEN HERE EVER SINCE. BUILT OUR HOME HERE.

We have had another busy week. We are trying to finish our reno and our grandson still has had some problems with his new rental house. So far the landlord has been great. It has cost him a lot of money to have an electrician in but hubby has saved him a lot too for which he thanked him for.
Between driving hubby around and picking up the little one from school, it has been hard to find time to keep up on computer. I do love being around the grand & great-grand kids but hopefully I will be able to accomplish more this weekend.
Our grandson called at 9 this morning to say one of the pipes is leaking in his basement. The city is going to his house to shut off the water so hubby can fix it, then they will come back and turn the water on. They charge $50.00 to do this. Sure would be grreat to have a well.
The dryer just quit, time to fold and put in another load.

Hello All !

Went and got grocery's today and forgot to get me some strawberries :( I really wanted to make me some chocolate covered ones too . Well maybe I will get some later today if I have to take my son to pick up his truck I slip in then and get some .

Just took a stroll though my veggie garden : ) I see my beans are coming up and my yellow squash is popping though : ) still waiting on the cucumbers and zucchini to pop through .

Feet are still about the same no major changes there to report , should get my new shoes today : )

JUST GOT THROUGH SETTING OUT A COUPLE OF THINGS BEFORE IT GOT TOO HOT. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE UPPER 80S TO LOWER 90S TODAY. STILL HAVE SOME VINCA TO SET OUT BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE I AM GOING TO PUT THAT YET. IT REQUIRES PART SUN BUT MOST OF MY YARD IS FULL SUN. FINISHED THE RAISED BED FOR THE SENIORS HERE IN KINSTON THIS MORNING. I STARTED EARLY THINKING THAT I WOULD FINISH BEFORE IT GOT TOO HOT. BY 9:45, IT WAS SO HOT IT FELT LIKE IN THE 90S. It is in the 60's here today. Was able to stay a few day with daughter & family. Wonderful time with all the family! We had a great holiday & cerebration. No computer there so no Spark. Hubby & I put in some more garden as well. When we got home I was so delighted at the birds. My Hubby and I feel it is a kind of birds sanctuary. We have been many places but few have the wonder of so many beautiful birds year round. We are indeed blessed. God is so good. Hope all had a great holiday. I did not stay on my diet as well as I should have but each day is a new beginning. Hope you are all doing well in body and diet. HUGS!

IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE UPPER 80S AGAIN TODAY. GOT NOTHING OUTSIDE DONE YESTERDAY. HAVE TO GO FINISH A RAISED BED FOR THE SENIOR CENTER THIS MORNING. THEN I AM COMING HOME AND HOPEFULLY SET OUT MY 2 NEW BUSHES. IT GOT INTO THE LOW 90S YESTERDAY SO DID NOT GET ANYTHING DONE OUTSIDE.

HUBBY CAME HOME WITH THE WORST CASE OF HIVES I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE. NOT WORKING TODAY AS HE CAN'T WEAR A SHIRT IT HURTS SO BAD.

ME- I AM GOING OVER TO THE SENIOR CENTER TO FINISH THAT RAISED BED. IT WAS TOO HOT YESTERDAY SO DIDN'T DO IT.

Cool. I love saving plants from the budget rack. The next step is the garbage and i always want to save them! I love butterfly bush. I have purple and white ones. Kay, my birthday was yesterday. 52, sheesh, where does the time go!!! I got basically nothing done today. I spent most of the day trying to get my pump going outside. No luck. It comes on and sounds like it's working but it won't prime. How stupid is that. I can usually get it to start working in just a few minutes any normal spring. This spring the water level is sky high and it won't work. That's totally backwards as to how it should be. I figured it would work without even priming it. Anyway, After about 20 attempts, i'm giving up for the day. grrrrr. Just not a good day today. Started out with an argument with my dog (a lab) about taking her medicine. She's been doing fine all along and now she decides she wants to spit the meds out. Even wrapped in bread with peanut butter on them!!!!! Anyway, not looking forward to going through that again tonight. The rabbit got my other peas and some of my kale this time. Ever have one of those days when you just wonder why you even bother? I'm gonna sit here and drink my tea and contemplate that question. I hope you all have a good night. Bye for now.

Hi ladies,
Hope you are all having a good day. Lottie, hope you figure out what it is that's bothering you. You have been so busy lately, maybe you need a little r&r? Supposed to be a beautiful sunny day here so i'm hoping to get more done in the garden. Pulled up the rest of my old carpet yesterday and moved furniture. Then Megan and Taylor came over to see me again and brought me some candles for my birthday. That was nice. She knows i love candles. After a day inside though, i'm raring to get outside in the dirt. No rabbit in the trap yet but i'm not giving up. Between them and the moles, i'm in hunting mode!!! Kay, so glad your leaky troubles are over. Good that you found it before it did damage. Is your new renter a gardener? Maybe you will have a helper for your garden when she moves in, wouldn't that be nice. Well, this day is going on without me so i'd better jump in. Bye for now,

TODAY DIDN'T GO AS PLANNED. WE DIDN'T GET TO RENTAL. WE HAD A WATER LEAK IN KITCHEN WHICH WE THOUGHT WAS FROM THE FRIDGE. HUBBY CLEANED FRONT AND BACK IT WASN'T FROM FRIDGE. IT TURNED OUT TO BE UNDER THE SINK REVERSE FITLER SYSTEM SPRUNG A LEAK. HUBBY GOT IT FIXED BUT IT TOOK MOST OF THE DAY. NO FILTERED WATER UNTIL WE CAN GET IT REPLACED. emoticon

I HAD A HORRIBLE DAY. I TOOK AN ALLERGY PILL BECAUSE OF HEADACHE AND THROAT PROBLEMS. I DON'T KNOW IF IT KNOCKED ME OUT OR WHAT . I WAS SO TIRED I HAD TO LAY DOWN. IT MAY BE I OVER DONE IT AT RENTAL. RABBITS THEY ARE NO LONGER CUTE . I TOO HATE THEM FOR WHAT THEY DO TO OUR GARDENS. WE SEE THEM EVERYWHERE. MUST BE A GOOD YEAR FOR THEM.

Anjay , I am doing ok I guess , feeling tired and no energy today though , hubby and I went and stood on the Dr. Scholl's foot thing at walmart this past weekend . We both ended up getting a pair of inserts for our shoes , so far I think they might be helping some along with you alls prayers : ) I ordered me a couple pairs of shoes today a pair of Skechers walking shoes like I have I really love them and a pair of Skechers mule clogs to wear in the house . Been trying to wear the Easy Spirit ones , well I never own another pair of them ! they will not hold up the foot bed insert wear out of them to fast even with my orthotics .

Denise , I feel your pain of those rabbit eating your peas ! had that to happen to me last year with my green beans ! this year I bought me some 24 inch high chicken wire an put up around the woven wire fence to keep them out of there the pesty things ! Now I got to set up some traps for chipmunks to dispose of them from ruining my garden as well .

Kay , Lot of work getting your rental done I know but just think of all that exercise your getting : )

Hi Anjay, i was just out in the yard today. A little of this and a little of that. Then i seen where the rabbit has eaten my peas!!! I even have them fenced in and i had a blanket over them because of the frost last night! STUPID RABBIT!!!!!! I was moving some flowers and he was in there and took off. I found out that it's another baby one, not the big one i seen before. He can probably stick his little face right through my fence. UGH!!! I hate rabbits! I set a trap out there and if i can catch him he's going to live in another city,,,,like the squirrels i caught in my roof in the winter. Grrrrrrrr. It's great that you got some clean up done AND got paid for it. Good for you! Chocolate chip muffins sound heavenly. I miss food so much. I'm only eating salad and meatless soups lately. So afraid of another attack. Lost another couple pounds from it though. Had a nice mother's day. I heard from all 4 of my kids and my second daughter (Megan) came over with her daughter (Taylor) and took me out to lunch. She wanted to take me to dinner but i told her i can't eat most things so i asked her to just take me to subway for lunch. Lotsa veggies. Hope everyone is well. Good luck on that rental Kay.

Happy Mother's Day to all! I do hope everyone enjoyed their day.

It was an awesome day. We did have the little ones as both grandson & his wife had to work again today. My son & his wife stopped by for a visit, then my step-daughter & family came after my son had left. Our youngest daughter & family stopped in also. My oldest daughter was away for the weekend but I did talk to her on the phone. It was great that the visits were staggered (not planned) because we have only the dining room chairs my hubby brought down to sit on. Everything doesn't have to be perfect to enjoy each other's company.

I am trying to get my laundry done before my grandson drops off the little ones. Hubby went fishing early this morning and is back either watching TV or sleeping in the rec room. He was disappointed that his friend didn't stay and fish longer. I will have to find a place where I can take him and he can stay as long as he likes.

I was wondering if you have ever tried to wear Birkenstock sandals. If they fit right they are like having an orthonic built right in. They are expensive but I think you can sometimes find a good deal online. My husband teases me because I live in mine until the snow flies every year.
I am doing good and hopefully will have my home back to to normal in the next week or so. Hubby is doing a great job as he always does. I am so proud of what he is still able to do.

Way To Go ROSIE !

Got a new recipr for you ladies to try :

Crunchy Chicken Salad

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 package (3 ounces) Oriental-flavor ramen noodle soup mix

2 tablespoons sesame seed

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup white vinegar

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 cups cut-up cooked chicken

1/2 cup dry-roasted peanuts

4 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)

1 bag (16 ounces) coleslaw mix


1.Melt butter in 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Stir in seasoning packet from noodles. Break block of noodles into bite-size pieces over skillet; stir noodles into butter mixture. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly; stir in sesame seed. Cook about 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly, until noodles are golden brown.
2.Mix sugar, vinegar, oil and pepper in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and noodle mixture; toss.

Makes 6 servings

I did this a little different then it calls for though , I used just sunflower kernnels , and I doubled it and also used 2 pkgs. noodled chooped and brown in butter with 1 pkg. seasoning . Put 2 seasoning pkg out of ramen in my dressing mix (had to open another pkg. to get the 3rd seasoning pkg. ) toss the noodle from it in the freezer to use later in another recipe .

PASSED THAT EXAM WITH FLYING COLORS. I HAD TO SHOW HER THAT I KNEW HOW TO PRUNE A BUSH AND PLANT A START IN THE GARDEN. I WAS THROUGH BY 12:30 AND WENT TO HAVE MY CAR SERVICED AS IT WAS TIME FOR THAT.

Good Day To All !

Well I was out trying to be quite and work in my veggie garden and love and behold my hubby got up and my the yard for me and even weed-eated something that I have always done and he never does much of . But was I happy : ) he told me he would do the weed-eating this time because of my feet , but guess he decided to mow it to for me . What great guy he is : )

So while he did that I planted some zucchini and some summer squash and transplanted a few of the spghetti squash that came up on it's own from last year. Then I put up some more chicken wire around the garden to keep rabbits out and put a section on the gat going in to the garden , now all I have to do is one more section and it will be done . I alos pulled a few weeds and I am done for now my feet need the break . Beside it is storming out a little .

TODAY IS GOING TO BE A BEAUTIFUL DAY. THE SUN IS SHINING AND IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE 70S. TAKE MY FINAL EXAM FOR THE SEMESTER AT 12:00 TODAY. THEN ON MAY 21 I START MY LAST CLASS.

I THINK I WILL DO SOME WEEDING ONCE I GET BACK FROM GETTING MY TIRES ROTATED THIS AFTERNOON. HAVE TO GET SOME PLANTS FOR THE KINSTON SENIOR CENTER'S RAISED GARDEN FOR FRIDAY. THEY WANT TOMATOES, SQUASH, AND CUCUMBERS. THEY ARE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS.

Denise , yes I like to work and play in the garden , but most of all I enjoy gathering all the yummy veggie's when they come ripe for the picking : )
So glad that all your test came back ok : )

Well we have been getting some much needed rain today and tonight , maybe if is clears up some I might try and tacke mowing my yard tomorrow . I know it will not get totally dried off but oh it so needs it bad , but oh I just forgot . Hubby is working tonight so that means he will be sleeping so that will not work . Oh well I get to it sooner then later : )

Anjay that's such a cute new profile picture! You seem like such a fun person, i wish we were neighbors! Glad you had a good day. Good luck on your exam Lottie. Love the pictures too. Isn't gardening fun! Barbie, i finally got to see the docs to get the upper g.i and colonoscopy. They took biopsies to make sure i didn't have celiac disease or pylori (which causes ulcers) and a polyp biopsy. All was well. No doctor will listen to me but i'm just sure it's all caused from the scoliosis. I've researched it and i know other people have had the same trouble but only chiropractors will agree that the spine plays a part in anything like that. Oh well..... Again, on a brighter note.....got another raised bed box made today. Will fill it and plant it out tomorrow. Lots of weeding in the front of my house where i'm putting in flowers. Mowed a little. So much to do,,,,too little time! Where ya at Kay? Hope you've been busy outside and not feeling poorly. Have a good night ladies, blessings, Denise

HAVE ALOT THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. NEED TO PULL SOME WEEDS BUT AM GOING TO WAIT UNTIL AFTER MY EXAM TOMORROW AS IT REQUIRES ME TO WORK OUTSIDE (A PRACTICAL EXAM) TO SHOW THAT WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING. MAY GO WALKING THOUGH.

MY ROSES ARE IN BLOOM AND ARE PUTTING ON A SPECTACULAR SHOW. MY IRIS ARE STILL BLOOMONG AND THAT MAKES IT ALL A BETTER SHOW.

Denise , I have never ate or got to try the spaghetti squash yet , even though I plantred it last year and it came up again this year . The pesty squash bug that get on them play a toll on them and then it got so hot and dry they did not produce right . So I am anxious this year for them to do better so i can give them a try . I mainly just like the zucchinin and yellow summer squash the best : )
What kind of biospy did you have done ?

Yeah my feet borther me doing things , but sometimes just got to grin and bear it if I want to get things done, otherwise they won't get done .

Rainy night last night and suposed to be today so I am glad to have gotten my beans and cabbage in yesterday : )

That's funny Barbie. I wouldn't mind growing the squash but i wouldn't want to eat it. I love almost all squash, but not that kind. Hope your feet get better soon. You sure got a lot done for being in pain. I'm not good for anything when I'm hurting. Glad you are feeling better Kay. Yes, my tests looked good and both biopsies were negative. I was supposed to have a follow-up appointment today but i canceled it. I got my bill for just the anesthesia and it was $1,050.00!!!! I thought i was going to have a heart attack. Haven't even gotten the doctors bills yet, there were 2 specialists there. So, i canceled my appt. so i don't add more to my bill. I really wish i had insurance. Anyway, he said he'd probably send me to the surgeon. I know i can't afford an operation on top of all these other bills. I'm just praying for the best, whatever happens. On to a happier subject......I got another raised bed built and planted today. Well, half planted. I will finish it tomorrow. At this rate I just might catch up after all! The weather has been absolutely perfect. In the 70's and sunny. Just gorgeous. I'm hoping to get a lot done tomorrow because it is supposed to rain a couple days this week. I love rain on my garden. It's so much better than water from the hose. Well, guess i should get off here for the night. Have a good night all. Denise

Hope all is well today .

Me I am still dealing with my feet issues .
Did manage to plant 3 rows of beans and a row of cabbage this morning , feet are telling it now .

So now I have 3 rows of sugar peas , 3 rows of green beans and a row of cabbage : )
Got summer squash and zucchini and cucumbers to plant yet .
Next when the weather warm ups more I'll plant tomatoes , peppers .

Oh and I have spaghetti squash coming up every where from where I planted them last year , so I have to re-transplant a few of those and toss the rest . No one seems to want them , but they will want the sqaush when they come on : ) they just don;t want the hassel of growing them hahaha !

THANK YOU ALL FOR ASKING I AM FEELING BETTER TODAY. THE WEATHER IS STILL NASTY. I WILL BE SO GLAD FOR SUNSHINE.

DENISE I HOPE YOU ARE FEELING BETTER . HAVE YOU HEARD BACK FROM THE TESTS YET ? OUR DAUGHTER TOLD ME SAT. THAT SHE THINKS SHE HAS BEEN HAVING GALLBLADDER ATTACKS. SHE HASN'T BEEN TO A DR YET. I KNOW HOW AWFUL THOSE ATTACKS ARE. RIGHT AFTER I GOT OUT OF SURGERY FROM HAVING MINE REMOVED I FELT SO MUCH BETTER.

SON CALLED AND WNATS FISH FOR SUPPER . HIM AND HUSBAND CAUGHT ABOUT 150 AND CLEANED THEM . I FIXED FISH FRIDAY NIGHT SO HE WNATS ME TO FIX MORE FOR HIM AND HIS BOYS. I SAID OK. HUSBAND SAID I WOULD PROBABLY GET OFF MY DEATH BED TO COOK FOR THEM. I DID TELL SON IT WOULD BE FROZEN FRENCH FRIES BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE TIME TO CUT THAT MANY POTATOES. WE HAVE SOME ERRANDS TO RUN BEFORE I CAN COOK.

Wow! What a weekend, I am happy it is over. I have not felt very good since Friday and like I posted on my blog, I was sick with the cold or whatever was going on.

I did do my weight today but I don't know how many exercise minutes I got in. It has been busy with the litttle ones and today I am just going to take it easy.

Kay, an euonymous is a beautiful shrub. Mine is green on the outside of the leaf and a hint of golden in the center. They have pink flowers in the summer time.

Am feeling great today except for a mild headache. My back has finally healed up so I can do things that I love again.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well Kay. I sure hope it passes soon. I can certainly commiserate with you. I was up all night with another full fledged gallbladder attack. Didn't quit till about 9 this morning. Then i fell asleep for about an hour. I'm so tired today! Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for both of us. Our weather here is just perfect and I hate to miss out on it, especially since i'm so far behind on things. Hope everyone else is doing well. Blessing, Denise

ROSE WHAT IS A EUONOMOUS ? THE RAIN STARTED HERE YESTERDAY AND THIS WEATHER HAS KICKED MY BUTT. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN RUN OVER BY A MACK TRUCK. MY POOR MOTHER HAD ARTIRITIS ALL OVER HER BODY AND SHE SAID THERE WASN'T A PLACE THAT DIDN'T HURT ON HER BODY. I AM NOT THAT BAD BUT I HURT ALOT. FIBROMYLIGA IS NO FUN. I HASN'T ABLE TO GO TO CHURCH TODAY BECAUSE HURTING SO BAD. I SLEPT ALL MORNING AND TOOK SOME IFBUFEN AND IT CALMED THE PAIN DOWN SOME.

JUST GOT BACK FROM TOWN WITH DADDY. CAME HOME AND SET OUT AN ITEA (VIRGINIA SWEETSPIRE), A SPIREA, AND AN EUONOMOUS. I THINK THEY WILL LOOK REAL NICE WHERE I PUT THEM. Good Evening Ladies : )

Well I put up a fence around my dark purple lilac this evening and moved a couple , dang deer will not leave my stuff alone !
I have not had any energy today just feel totally drained :(
Went barefoot a couple days and now I am back in the same boat with my feet :( not going to beable to do that anymore . Going to have to find me a piar of good sandals I guess .

Don;t they make sandals for plantar fasistisis ?

We have had a few nice sunny days. I caught a cold from the little ones and I hope it goes away as fast as it started.
I had to take my hubby for his needles yesterday and that takes a big chunk out of the day. We had to park a long way from the doctor as they are doing road work and that was a good long walk each way.More exercise done.
He painted all day Tuesday at the house our grandson & family rented. He was totally exhausted when he got home at 11:00pm. He decided (with a strong suggestion from me) to rest up on Wednesday. Thankfully he did take my advise. With his appointment yesterday it was another down day.
He will help our grandson again tomorrow. Today he cut the grass for the first time. It looks great and all the perennial are coming up.
Spring is my favourite season as everything comes back to life after the winter.
Today I had to pick up the little one from school. My grandson wants to leave her at the same school and start the new one in September.
I am still trying to get things in order. It seems just after I dust, it is back again. I think next week we will make an appointment to have our air ducts cleaned out, I'm sure that would help a lot too.
