Day 12 of TURBO FIRE. My workout was FIRE 55 EZ. I'm getting better all the time. And when it gets really tough, I tell myself that if I push through, it will be easier next time. So far, that has been totally true for me!
I'm making a return to Sparkpeople after a mind-numbingly long absence. Here's to all those who have managed to soldier on and keep their habits healthy! As for those like myself, finding the way back into a lifestyle that brings abundant health is a worthwhile journey, indeed. Best wishes to everyone!

I guess the last time I posted was February when I hurt my knee. Yikes! I made a commitment on October 15th to work out every day and did really well until I got a virus the first weekend in June. I had to take a week off after being knocked off my feet by fatigue and the rest of what goes along with a yucky virus. I have a new appreciation for people who struggle with health issues. It was really no fun!!! I got back on track though and still working out an average of 30 minutes per day. There are some days that I can only fit in 20, but I'm okay with that. I like the trophies that come with Spark. If I log my activity I get trophies for the minute milestones that help to keep me motivated. I'm hovering at my goal weight right now and my plan is to keep it there. When I look at the scale I wonder if I can work to get my weight even lower, but I think that's just not realistic! Summer is finally here and there's lots of opportunity to get my workouts in AND get outside and walk walk walk! My knees and feet don't really enjoy exercise too much, so I don't know how long I can keep up with it. Getting old is, well....it's a process! :) I'm grateful for this site and logging my minutes every day to keep me on track. Glad you are all here!!!! I've been alternating between Fat Blaster, Bootie Sculpt, Cardio Party and Turbo Jam. I'm still a little wary of the Extreme since I hurt my knee! The combinations I mentioned seem to be working for me right now. Have a good day everyone. Time to get off the computer and into action!!!!
