I was bummed because I was going to walk at lunch yesterday but it began raining. And the weather today or tomorrow may not cooperate.
So, the next couple of days might be iffy--and thanks, sun, for coming out as I was leaving for the day yesterday--great timing--I had errands to do yesterday so an afternoon walk was out of the question. I made a lot of little trips back and forth to the laundry room yesterday and then when putting away clothes to rack up my steps that way.
I've got the Parade magazine cover from last year "What Makes Olga Run?" up in my cube--she's 94 and still runs. I've also got the quote, "Those who do not find time for exercise will have to find time for illness," up as well.
No rain this weekend, however, so I'll be making sure my pedometer gets to display that symbol of someone raising their arms in joy once I've walked over 10,000 steps.
I find joining groups or challenges really helpful to stay motivated through spark people. I just started a challenge on another SparkTeam where you have a weekly fitness number to reach. Its incredibly motivating to me!
