Well, the kiwis didn't help last night, but when I have stressful work-related things in my head, they attack at night. If I wake up at 3, for instance, I often can't get back to sleep because the stressful things keep running around in my head. The kiwis couldn't stave them off last night! I'll try, try again!

Some people think the “plant-based whole foods diet” is extreme. Half a million a year will have their chests opened up and a vein taken from their leg and sewn onto their coronary artery. Some people would call that extreme.

I used to eat the fuzzy skin. Now, as I take baby steps I'm peeling...just in case.

I WOULD be a night owl if that dang alarm didn't go off at 6 every morning! And on the weekends the dogs keep me to that schedule.

I wash everything with Fit fruit & vegetable wash. Even hard things like avocado, because I figure if I cut into a germy shell, for instance, I'm bringing some of the germs (or bugs, etc) to the fruit itself with the knife. Better safe than sorry! Of course, I'm one of those who eats the fuzzy skin of a kiwi. We should probably take a survey! Who eats the kiwi skin, and who thinks that's just GROSS. I'm in Camp Fuzzy!

I hope you and kiwis can develop a love affair after this 30-year separation!

I hope it works, K8. Let us know how it goes.

I just started eating kiwis again ... because I had a serious allergic reaction back in 1982! There might be something written about that event in hieroglyphics. Someone later suggested it might have been from the pesticides used on the fruit I ate, and I think that could be true. Anyway, it was a big enough deal that I avoided kiwi for all these years, until just a few months ago. Nothing bad happened, but still I'll take baby steps. I am a night owl, so I'll give it a try sometime when an early bedtime calls.

I was serious enough about the insomnia to quit all caffeine. Now that's serious! I have managed to get off all meds, and can usually sleep about 6 hours, but feel the need for one or two more. I love kiwis! I may try this. Even tho, as he said, maybe any fruit would do. But I do love kiwis, so I wouldn't mind that at all!

Reverses it? Wow. I'll be interested to find out more. I've got a friend facing that now.

This is very good to know! Thanks!

I also learned this week that studies have shown 10 prunes a day appears to reverse bone loss. I googled that and found plenty of info.
