I get my multivitamins from the farmers' market. There's precious little evidence that taking concentrated vitamins on their own does much good. Then there are dose inconsistencies, impurities, the difficulty in the one-size-fits-all approach, but most importantly the fact that vitamin pills do not contain the complex array of phytonutrients that whole plant foods contain. The only way to ensure an adequate and comprehensive vitamin and nutrient intake is to eat proper food. Not that Big Pharma wants you to know.
