Hmmm... bathing vs. surgery, surgery vs. bathing ... tricky tricky decision.
I'm with you, Terry. I remember when those study results came out and definitely found them questionable.
Interesting article, but I did strongly disagree with one embarrassing aspect of it that he casually mentions at the first of the article--not because it's embarrassing in and of itself, but because I'm speaking to a group of mostly women, I think....but still we are all adults here.
He mentions that male circumcision reduces disease worldwide--as if that's fact. I once did a study on this, and it's more of a myth than reality....and young baby boys and men suffer because of it.
Most of what I read did find one wild and unique way to avoid spreading disease and illness for non circ. men: bath regularly! Wow...such a novel idea! Ha! A simple and easy step to do that does not require surgery!
But on the other topic of the article: yeah, a pill to help us tolerate meat--what will they think of next to avoid changing their ways! Ha!

I love this: '"God forbid we lower our consumption of meat and eggs." Yes, please let's just manufacture another pill to further line the pockets of the pharmaceutical company bigwigs. UGH!
Some people think the “plant-based whole foods diet” is extreme. Half a million a year will have their chests opened up and a vein taken from their leg and sewn onto their coronary artery. Some people would call that extreme.

I just read this article from McWilliams... james-mcwilliams.com/?p=3716 and thought you might enjoy it. One more reason to embrace the vegan lifestyle.
