I went to a vegan deli over the weekend and they were playing the documentary: Forks Over Knives. If you all have never seen it, you should look it up. It's on Netflix. It addresses some of the same issues with animal protein as identified in this article. The film's website describes it this way:

The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering yet under-appreciated researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn.'

I think it's a matter of time before people who get diseases from red meat start suing the people and companies who hawk the poison. Red meat today is is where tobacco was about 40 years ago: the penny is just starting to drop about how noxious this stuff really is. And meat promotion boards, etc are lying that they don't know, that's it all good and so on. Bullpucky.
